Abstract

A miniature replica kit resembles a full-sized drink and/or a food dispensing appliance. A curable resin is contained within a resin container. A resin dispensing appliance is a miniature replica of the full-sized drink and/or food dispensing appliance. The resin dispensing appliance includes a resin receptacle in fluidic communication with a manually actuated valve disposed at a bottom of the resin receptacle. The curable resin is configured to be disposed within the resin receptacle. The curable resin is configured to be dispensed through the manually actuated valve when actuated by an end user.

Claims

1. A miniature replica kit resembling a full-sized drink and/or a food dispensing appliance, comprising: a curable resin contained within a resin container; and a resin dispensing appliance; wherein the resin dispensing appliance is a miniature replica of the full-sized drink and/or food dispensing appliance; wherein the resin dispensing appliance includes a resin receptacle in fluidic communication with a manually actuated valve disposed at a bottom of the resin receptacle; wherein the curable resin is configured to be disposed within the resin receptacle; and wherein the curable resin is configured to be dispensed through the manually actuated valve when actuated by an end user.

2. The miniature replica kit of claim 1, wherein the curable resin is an ultraviolet light curable viscous resin.

3. The miniature replica kit of claim 2, wherein the ultraviolet light curable viscous resin is configured to cure under ultraviolet light having a wavelength of 365 nanometers.

The miniature replica kit of claim 1, including a miniature replica of a cup or a bowl, wherein the curable resin is configured to be disposed within the resin receptacle and be dispensed through the manually actuated valve when actuated by the end user into the miniature replica of the cup or the bowl.

5. The miniature replica kit of claim 4, wherein the miniature replica of the cup or the bowl is transparent allowing ultraviolet light to pass therethrough.

6. The miniature replica kit of claim 1, wherein the resin container is not transparent and is configured to block ultraviolet light from passing therethrough.

7. The miniature replica kit of claim 4, including at least one miniature replica ingredient item.

The miniature replica kit of claim 7, wherein the curable resin and the at least one miniature replica ingredient item are configured to be disposed in the miniature replica of the cup or the bowl and thereafter solidify when exposed to ultraviolet light attaching the curable resin and the at least one miniature replica ingredient item forming a cured composite miniature replica food item.

9. The miniature replica kit of claim 1, wherein the resin dispensing appliance includes an inner liner configured to be removable from the resin dispending appliance.

10. The miniature replica kit of claim 9, wherein the inner liner is made from polypropylene.

11. The miniature replica kit of claim 9, wherein the inner liner is configured to receive the curable resin while still contained within the resin container when a lid of the resin container is opened.

12. The miniature replica kit of claim 11, wherein the inner liner is configured to receive the resin container and hold the resin container upside-down at an angle from 5 to 45 degrees relative to a vertical position.

13. The miniature replica kit of claim 7, including an ingredient dispensing appliance, wherein the ingredient dispensing appliance is a second miniature replica of another full-sized drink and/or food dispensing appliance, wherein the ingredient dispensing appliance includes an ingredient receptacle in fluidic communication with a second manually actuated valve disposed at a bottom of the ingredient receptacle, wherein the at least one miniature replica ingredient item is configured to be disposed within the ingredient receptacle.

14. The miniature replica kit of claim 13, wherein the resin dispensing appliance and the ingredient dispensing appliance are configured to attach to one another in a side-by-side arrangement.

15. The miniature replica kit of claim 13, wherein the resin dispensing appliance and the ingredient dispensing appliance are integrally formed as a combination dispensing appliance during manufacture.

16. The miniature replica kit of claim 13, wherein the at least one miniature replica ingredient items are ice or boba, the ice or the boba being a non-curable element.

17. The miniature replica kit of claim 1, including a sticker dispensing appliance including a plurality of stickers disposed on a transfer sheet.

18. The miniature replica kit of claim 17, wherein the resin dispensing appliance and the sticker dispensing appliance are configured to attach to one another in a side-by-side arrangement.

19. The miniature replica kit of claim 7, including a shipping container separable into two portions, wherein when the two portions are closed together define an interior volume, wherein the resin dispensing appliance and the resin container are disposed within the interior volume during shipping.

20. The miniature replica kit of claim 19, wherein each of the two portions of the shipping container have a hemispherical shape including a flat spot centered about the hemispherical shape.

21. The miniature replica kit of claim 19, including at least one shrink wrap covering surrounding the shipping container.

22. The miniature replica kit of claim 21, wherein the shrink wrap covering includes indicia associated with the full-sized drink and/or the food dispensing appliance.

23. The miniature replica kit of claim 19, including a middle packaging subassembly configured to contain at least the resin dispensing appliance.

24. The miniature replica kit of claim 23, including a top packaging subassembly and a bottom packaging subassembly, wherein the top packaging subassembly is configured to contain at least the resin container, wherein the bottom packaging subassembly is configured to contain the at least the miniature replica of the cup or the bowl, wherein the middle subassembly is configured to be disposed between the top and bottom packaging subassembly when disposed within the shipping container.

25. The miniature replica kit of claim 1, wherein the resin dispensing appliance is a miniature replica of a boba dispensing appliance, an espresso dispensing appliance, a juice dispensing appliance or a soda dispensing appliance.

26. A miniature replica kit resembling a full-sized drink and/or a food dispensing appliance, comprising: a curable resin contained within a resin container, wherein the curable resin is an ultraviolet light curable viscous resin; and a resin dispensing appliance; wherein the resin dispensing appliance is a miniature replica of the full-sized drink and/or food dispensing appliance; wherein the resin dispensing appliance includes a resin receptacle in fluidic communication with a manually actuated valve disposed at a bottom of the resin receptacle; wherein the curable resin is configured to be disposed within the resin receptacle; wherein the curable resin is configured to be dispensed through the manually actuated valve when actuated by an end user; a miniature replica of a cup or a bowl, wherein the curable resin is configured to be disposed within the resin receptacle and be dispensed through the manually actuated valve when actuated by the end user into the miniature replica of the cup or the bowl; and at least one miniature replica ingredient item; wherein the curable resin and the at least one miniature replica ingredient item are configured to be disposed in the miniature replica of the cup or the bowl and thereafter solidify when exposed to ultraviolet light attaching the curable resin and the at least one miniature replica ingredient item forming a cured composite miniature replica food item.

27. A miniature replica kit resembling a full-sized drink and/or a food dispensing appliance, comprising: a curable resin contained within a resin container, wherein the curable resin is an ultraviolet light curable viscous resin; and a resin dispensing appliance; wherein the resin dispensing appliance is a miniature replica of the full-sized drink and/or food dispensing appliance; wherein the resin dispensing appliance includes a resin receptacle in fluidic communication with a manually actuated valve disposed at a bottom of the resin receptacle; wherein the curable resin is configured to be disposed within the resin receptacle; wherein the curable resin is configured to be dispensed through the manually actuated valve when actuated by an end user; a miniature replica of a cup or a bowl, wherein the curable resin is configured to be disposed within the resin receptacle and be dispensed through the manually actuated valve when actuated by the end user into the miniature replica of the cup or the bowl; at least one miniature replica ingredient item; wherein the curable resin and the at least one miniature replica ingredient item are configured to be disposed in the miniature replica of the cup or the bowl and thereafter solidify when exposed to ultraviolet light attaching the curable resin and the at least one miniature replica ingredient item forming a cured composite miniature replica food item; and including either: a) an ingredient dispensing appliance, wherein the ingredient dispensing appliance is a second miniature replica of another full-sized drink and/or food dispensing appliance, wherein the ingredient dispensing appliance includes an ingredient receptacle in fluidic communication with a second manually actuated valve disposed at a bottom of the ingredient receptacle, wherein the at least one miniature replica ingredient item is configured to be disposed within the ingredient receptacle; and/or, b) a sticker dispensing appliance including a plurality of stickers disposed on a transfer sheet.

28. A miniature replica kit including a plurality of miniature replica items associated with a full-sized drink and/or a food dispensing appliance, wherein the plurality of miniature replica items includes at least one non-curable element and at least one curable element, wherein the plurality of miniature replica items comprise: a curable resin contained within a resin container; a miniature replica of a cup or a bowl; at least one miniature replica ingredient item; and a resin dispensing appliance, wherein the resin dispensing appliance is a miniature replica of the full-sized drink and/or food dispensing appliance, wherein the resin dispensing appliance includes a resin receptacle in fluidic communication with a manually actuated valve disposed at a bottom of the resin receptacle, wherein the curable resin is configured to be disposed within the resin receptacle, and wherein the curable resin is configured to be dispensed through the manually actuated valve when actuated by an end user; wherein the at least one curable element comprises the curable resin; wherein the at least one non-curable element comprises the at least one miniature replica ingredient item and the miniature replica of the cup or the bowl; wherein the curable resin and the at least one miniature replica ingredient item are configured to be disposed in the miniature replica of the cup or the bowl and thereafter solidify when exposed to ultraviolet light attaching the curable resin, the at least one miniature replica ingredient item and the miniature replica of the cup or the bowl forming a cured composite miniature replica food item.

Description

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION

[0143] Referring now to the present invention and the associated drawings, FIGS. 1-29 illustrate an embodiment of the present invention being a miniature replica kit 100 resembling a full-sized drink and/or a food dispensing appliance. As best shown in FIGS. 1-6, the miniature replica kit 100 is packaged in a shipping container 101 which resembles a sphere, such as a ball-shape. It is understood to those skilled in the art that many shapes could be used that contain a sufficient amount of volume within to hold the various parts and pieces described herein, as this teaching is not strictly limited to the embodiments shown and taught. In FIGS. 1-4 the hands 102 of a user 103 are visible to understand the scale of the invention being taught herein.

[0144] As shown in FIGS. 1-3, a first shrink wrap covering 104 surrounds the shipping container. The shrink wrap covering can be removed exposing a second shrink wrap covering 105 underneath. Both shrink wrap coverings may include various indicia 106 associated with the full-sized drink and/or the food dispensing appliance. The indicia may be graphics, words, images, colors or any other various marketing materials that are deemed appropriate to help market the present invention to consumers. Herein, the two shrink wrap coverings are overlaid perpendicular to one another to fully prevent the ball-shaped shipping container from separating. It is understood by those skilled in the art that no shrink wrap coverings may be used, one shrink wrap covering may be used or any number of shrink wrap coverings may be used. As best shown in FIG. 3, the shrink wrap covering may include a perforated portion 108 that is configured to be easily broken and ripped by the user thereby releasing the shrink wrap covering from the shipping container. At least one relief hole 107 may be disposed through the shell of the shipping container to allow air to flow within the inside and outside of the shipping container.

[0145] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, the spherical/ball-shaped shipping container 101 is separable into two portions 101a and 101b. When the two portions are closed together they define an interior volume 109. Each of the two portions 101a and 101b of the shipping container have a hemispherical shape including an optional flat spot 110 centered about the hemispherical shape. The flat spot may be used to prevent the container from rolling away. As best seen in FIGS. 5 and 6, inside the shipping container are a top packaging subassembly 111, a middle packaging subassembly 112, and a bottom packaging subassembly 113. The middle packaging subassembly is usually configured to contain the resin dispensing appliance as this is the largest packaging subassembly of the kit. The top packaging subassembly (or bottom packaging subassembly) is usually configured to contain the resin container. The bottom packaging subassembly (or top packaging subassembly) is usually configured to contain at least the miniature replica of a cup or a bowl. It is understood to those skilled in the art that the top and bottom packaging subassemblies are interchangeable as their designation can be switched depending upon how the ball-shaped shipping container is viewed by the reader. The middle subassembly is configured to be disposed between the top and bottom packaging subassembly when disposed within the shipping container. Also included in the shipping container are a variety of flattened items 114, such as instructions, placemats, coasters or the like.

[0146] FIG. 7 is a perspective image of the middle packaging subassembly 112. FIG. 8 is the middle packaging subassembly of FIG. 7 now opened. The middle packaging subassembly is a clamshell, having a first clamshell portion 112a and a second clamshell portion 112b. The clamshell is formed to match the shape of the products it contains. The clamshells can be opened to reveal a resin dispensing appliance 115 that is a miniature replica of a full-sized drink and/or a food dispensing appliance.

[0147] The resin dispensing appliance has a lid 116 and a base 117. The base is configured to connect to a bottom of the appliance. The lid is configured to sit on top of a resin receptacle 118. Here, the optional inner liner is not shown but could be provided if desired. The ingredient receptacle is in fluidic communication with a second manually actuated valve disposed at a bottom of the ingredient receptacle, wherein at least one miniature replica ingredient item is configured to be disposed within the ingredient receptacle.

[0150] Referring to FIG. 29, the resin dispensing appliance and the ingredient dispensing appliance are configured to attach to one another in a side-by-side arrangement through the use of a male connecter 128 and a female connector 129 formed respectively along the abutting sides of the appliances. For example, the connectors 128 and 129 can be dovetail joints or the like that are known to those skilled in the art. The male dovetail joint can then be slid to connect within the female dovetail joints thereby connecting the two appliances. Alternatively, the resin dispensing appliance and the ingredient dispensing appliance could be integrally formed as a combination dispensing appliance during manufacture as is shown in FIG. 17.
