DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

    I. Introduction and Environment

[0036] As required, detailed aspects of the present invention are disclosed herein, however, it is to be understood that the disclosed aspects are merely exemplary of the invention, which may be embodied in various forms. Therefore, specific structural and functional details disclosed herein are not to be interpreted as limiting, but merely as a basis for the claims and as a representative basis for teaching one skilled in the art how to variously employ the present invention in virtually any appropriately detailed structure.

[0037] Certain terminology will be used in the following description for convenience in reference only and will not be limiting. For example, up, down, front, back, right and left refer to the invention as orientated in the view being referred to. The words, inwardly and outwardly refer to directions toward and away from, respectively, the geometric center of the aspect being described and designated parts thereof. Forwardly and rearwardly are generally in reference to the direction of travel, if appropriate. Said terminology will include the words specifically mentioned, derivatives thereof and words of similar meaning.

II. Preferred Embodiment Wallet Pipe 2

[0038] As shown in FIGS. 1-16, the present invention is a wallet pipe 2 assembly which is formed from a body element 4, a lid element 6, and a bowl element 8. The bowl 8 can be removed from a bowl receiver opening 12 within the lid 6 as shown in FIG. 9 and can be replaced with other bowls, such as the alternative embodiment wallet pipe 52 shown in FIGS. 17-27.

[0039] The lid 6 is preferably affixed to the body using a number of magnets 22 within the lid 6 as shown in FIG. 12. Corresponding magnets 20 or areas of ferromagnetic material could be installed within the body 4 of the pipe 2 as shown in FIGS. 10-11 and 13. Similarly, the magnets could be installed within the body 4 and the lid 6 could be entirely ferromagnetic or may have corresponding areas of ferromagnetic material, or simply corresponding magnets as illustrated.

[0040] The lid 6 seals the smoking channel 18 which ends at a bowl chamber 16 within the body 4. A mouth opening 10 is sealed by a mouth piece cover 14 of the lid, which is where the user can draw in smoke from material burned within the bowl 8, which is drawn through the bowl chamber 16 and the smoking channel 18 and out the mouth opening 10.

[0041] The smoking channel 18 forms a circuitous route through the body 4. The rest of the body 4 functions as a heat sink which cools the smoke, so that it is ideal when drawn out the mouth opening 10 by the user. The bowl 8 and lid 6 can be removed for easy cleaning.

III. Alternative Embodiment Wallet Pipe 52

[0042] FIG. 17-27 show an alternative embodiment wallet pipe 52 where the only difference with the previous embodiment wallet pipe 2 is that the alternative embodiment wallet pipe 52 uses a different bowl 58 from the bowl 8 of the previous embodiment.

[0043] The ability to use interchangeable bowls 8, 58 allows the user to optimize their smoking experience by choosing a bowl designed for the specific combustible material being smoked. This could include unique bowls for marijuana, hashish, tobacco, or other combustible or otherwise vapor or smoke-producing materials with desirable smoking properties, including wax or concentrate including wax or concentrate.

[0044] It is to be understood that while certain embodiments and/or aspects of the invention have been shown and described, the invention is not limited thereto and encompasses various other embodiments and aspects.
