Abstract
The invention relates to a child safety seat for attaching to a motor vehicle seat, comprising a seat region, a back portion, an impact shield, the impact shield comprising an integrated airbag and/or an airbag being provided in the seat region, an acceleration-sensing device for sensing an acceleration of the child safety seat, and a control device, which is configured in such a way that the airbag is deployed on the basis of an acceleration sensed by the acceleration-sensing device.
Claims
1. A child safety seat for attaching to a motor vehicle seat, the child safety seat comprising: a seat region; a back portion; an active protection means including a distance increasing device; and an impact shield with a first section and a second section, wherein the distance increasing device is integrated into the impact shield, wherein the second section is connected to the first section and is arranged in such manner that in an event of an activation of the distance increasing device, the second section is shifted away from the first section.
2. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein the distance increasing device includes an airbag.
3. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein the child safety seat includes an acceleration sensing device for sensing an acceleration of the child safety seat.
4. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein the impact shield is configured to be retained or fastened to the child safety seat in a region of the first section.
5. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein in the event of activation, the distance increasing device is shifted towards a pelvis or legs of a child sitting in the child safety seat.
6. The child safety seat according to claim 3, comprising a control device configured to trigger the active protection means based on the acceleration sensed by the acceleration sensing device.
7. The child safety seat according to claim 3, wherein the acceleration sensing device includes an acceleration sensor.
8. The child safety seat according to claim 6, wherein the control device actuates or activates on an acceleration threshold value of at least 2 g.
9. The child safety seat according to claim 3, wherein the acceleration sensing device is arranged on a section of the child safety seat which is located close to a vehicle or a vehicle body where the child safety seat is fitted.
10. The child safety seat according to claim 6, wherein the control device is coupled to the acceleration sensing device by cables or wirelessly.
11. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein the impact shield is retained on the child safety seat by a vehicle belt system or by a retaining device integrated in the child safety seat.
12. The child safety seat according to claim 10, wherein a cable is provided in a retaining device for transmitting information from the acceleration sensing device to the control device.
13. The child safety seat according to claim 1, wherein a force limiter is provided for limiting a force exerted on a child by a restraining belt, wherein a threshold value of the force limiter is greater than a threshold value of a positioning device of a belt system belt tensioner.
14. A child safety seat for attaching to a motor vehicle seat comprising: a seat region; a back portion; an acceleration sensing device for sensing an acceleration of the child safety seat; and an active protection means, wherein the child safety seat includes an impact shield and the active protection means includes an impact shield positioning apparatus for positioning the impact shield, wherein the acceleration sensing device is configured to cause the impact shield positioning apparatus to position the impact shield in response to an acceleration sensed by the acceleration sensing device, and/or the child safety seat includes a belt system and the active protection means includes a belt system belt tensioner for tensioning the belt system, wherein the acceleration sensing device is configured to cause the belt system belt tensioner to tension the belt system in response to the acceleration sensed by the acceleration sensing device, and/or the child safety seat includes a child safety seat anchor and the active protection means includes a child safety seat anchor positioning apparatus for positioning the child safety seat anchor, wherein the acceleration sensing device is configured to cause the child safety seat anchor positioning apparatus to position the child safety seat anchor in response to the acceleration sensed by the acceleration sensing device.
15. The child safety seat according to claim 14, comprising a control device which is configured to trigger the active protection means based on the acceleration sensed by the acceleration sensing device.
16. The child safety seat according to claim 14, wherein the acceleration sensing device includes an acceleration sensor.
17. The child safety seat according to claim 14, wherein the acceleration sensing device is arranged on a section of the child safety seat which is located close to a vehicle or a vehicle body when the child safety seat is fitted.
18. A method for activating an impact shield of a child safety seat coupled to a motor vehicle seat, the child safety seat comprising: a seat portion; a back portion; the impact shield with a distance increasing device; a first section; and a second section connected to the first section, wherein the method comprises activating the distance increasing device to shift the second section away from the first section.
19. The method according to claim 18, wherein in an event of activation, the distance increasing device is shifted towards a pelvis or legs of a child sitting in the child safety seat.
20. The method according to claim 18, wherein the method comprises: sensing an acceleration of the child safety seat; and triggering the distance increasing device based on the acceleration.
