Bed Sheet Assembly

Abstract

A bed sheet assembly includes a mattress and a fitted bed sheet that is positionable on the mattress. First guide indicia are printed on the fitted bed sheet and the first guide indicia comprise a pair of lines spaced a strategic distance apart from each other which corresponds to a width of the mattress. In this way the first guide indicia facilitate a user to accurately position the fitted bed sheet on the mattress. An unfitted bed sheet is positionable on the mattress when the fitted bed sheet is positioned on the mattress. Second guide indicia are printed on the unfitted bed sheet and the second guide indicia comprise a pair of lines spaced a strategic distance apart from each other which corresponds to a width of the mattress. In this way the second guide indicia facilitate a user to accurately position the unfitted bed sheet on the mattress.

Claims

1. A bed sheet assembly having guide indicia printed thereon to assist with positioning on a mattress, said assembly comprising: a mattress; a fitted bed sheet being positionable on said mattress, said fitted bed sheet having first guide indicia being printed on said fitted bed sheet, said first guide indicia comprising a pair of lines each being spaced a strategic distance apart from each other which corresponds to a width of said mattress wherein said first guide indicia are configured to facilitate a user to accurately position said fitted bed sheet on said mattress; and an unfitted bed sheet being positionable on said mattress when said fitted bed sheet is positioned on said mattress, said unfitted bed sheet having second guide indicia being printed on said unfitted bed sheet, said second guide indicia comprising a pair of lines each being spaced a strategic distance apart from each other which corresponds to a width of said mattress wherein said second guide indicia are configured to facilitate a user to accurately position said unfitted bed sheet on said mattress.

The assembly according to claim 1, wherein: said mattress has a top surface and a perimeter surface, said perimeter surface having a first sidelong side and a second sidelong side; and said fitted bed sheet has a top surface and a perimeter edge, said perimeter edge having a front side, a back side, a first lateral side and a second lateral side, said first guide indicia extending between said front side and said back side of said perimeter edge, each of said lines defined by said first guide indicia being equidistant from a respective one of said first lateral side or said second lateral side of said perimeter edge, a distance between each of said lines and said respective first lateral side or said second lateral side being at least equivalent to a height of said first sidelong side and said second sidelong side of said perimeter surface of said mattress.

3. The assembly according to claim 2, wherein each of said lines extends along an intersection between said top surface of said mattress and a respective one of said first sidelong side or said second sidelong side when said fitted bed sheet is positioned on said mattress.

4. The assembly according to claim 2, wherein said first guide indicia comprise embroidery being exposed on said top surface, said embroidery comprising the letters “NG”.

5. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein: said mattress has a top surface and a perimeter surface, said perimeter surface having a first sidelong side and a second sidelong side; and said unfitted bed sheet has a top surface and a perimeter edge, said perimeter edge of said unfitted bed sheet having a front side, a back side, a first lateral side and a second lateral side, said second guide indicia extending between said front side and said back side of said perimeter edge of said unfitted bed sheet, each of said lines defined by said second guide indicia being equidistant from a respective one of said first lateral side or said second lateral side of said perimeter edge of said unfitted bed sheet, a distance between each of said lines and said respective first lateral side or said second lateral side of said perimeter edge of said unfitted bed sheet being at least equivalent to a height of said first sidelong side and said second sidelong side of said perimeter surface of said mattress.

The assembly according to claim 5, wherein each of said lines defined by said second guide indicia extends along an intersection between said top surface of said mattress and a respective one of said first sidelong side or said second sidelong side when said unfitted bed sheet is positioned on said mattress.

7. The assembly according to claim 5, wherein said second guide indicia comprise embroidery being exposed on said top surface of said unfitted bed sheet, said embroidery comprising the letters “NG”.

8. A bed sheet assembly having guide indicia printed thereon to assist with positioning on a mattress, said assembly comprising: a mattress having a top surface and a perimeter surface, said perimeter surface having a first sidelong side and a second sidelong side; and a fitted bed sheet being positionable on said mattress, said fitted bed sheet having first guide indicia being printed on said fitted bed sheet, said first guide indicia comprising a pair of lines each being spaced a strategic distance apart from each other which corresponds to a width of said mattress wherein said first guide indicia are configured to facilitate a user to accurately position said fitted bed sheet on said mattress, said fitted bed sheet having a top surface and a perimeter edge, said perimeter edge having a front side, a back side, a first lateral side and a second lateral side, said first guide indicia extending between said front side and said back side of said perimeter edge, each of said lines defined by said first guide indicia being equidistant from a respective one of said first lateral side or said second lateral side of said perimeter edge, a distance between each of said lines and said respective first lateral side or said second lateral side being at least equivalent to a height of said first sidelong side and said second sidelong side of said perimeter surface of said mattress, each of said lines extending along an intersection between said top surface of said mattress and a respective one of said first sidelong side or said second sidelong side when said fitted bed sheet is positioned on said mattress, said first guide indicia comprising embroidery being exposed on said top surface, said embroidery comprising the letters “NG”; and an unfitted bed sheet being positionable on said mattress when said fitted bed sheet is positioned on said mattress, said unfitted bed sheet having second guide indicia being printed on said unfitted bed sheet, said second guide indicia comprising a pair of lines each being spaced a strategic distance apart from each other which corresponds to a width of said mattress wherein said second guide indicia are configured to facilitate a user to accurately position said unfitted bed sheet on said mattress, said unfitted bed sheet having a top surface and a perimeter edge, said perimeter edge of said unfitted bed sheet having a front side, a back side, a first lateral side and a second lateral side, said second guide indicia extending between said front side and said back side of said perimeter edge of said unfitted bed sheet, each of said lines defined by said second guide indicia being equidistant from a respective one of said first lateral side or said second lateral side of said perimeter edge of said unfitted bed sheet, a distance between each of said lines and said respective first lateral side or said second lateral side of said perimeter edge of said unfitted bed sheet being at least equivalent to a height of said first sidelong side and said second sidelong side of said perimeter surface of said mattress, each of said lines defined by said second guide indicia extending along an intersection between said top surface of said mattress and a respective one of said first sidelong side or said second sidelong side when said unfitted bed sheet is positioned on said mattress, said second guide indicia comprising embroidery being exposed on said top surface of said unfitted bed sheet, said embroidery comprising the letters “NG”.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0017] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new bed sheet device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

[0018] As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5, the bed sheet assembly 10 generally comprises a mattress 12 that has a top surface 14 and a perimeter surface 16, and the perimeter surface 16 has a first sidelong side 18 and a second sidelong side 20. The mattress 12 may be a sleeping mattress of any conventional design and the mattress 12 may be of any conventional size, including but not being limited to, king, queen and double. A fitted bed sheet 22 is provided and the fitted bed sheet 22 is positionable on the mattress 12. First guide indicia 24 are printed on the fitted bed sheet 22 and the first guide indicia 24 comprise a pair of lines 25 each spaced a strategic distance apart from each other which corresponds to a width of the mattress 12. In this way the first guide indicia 24 facilitate a user to accurately position the fitted bed sheet 22 on the mattress 12. The fitted bed sheet 22 may be manufactured in a variety of sizes which match the various sizes of the mattress 12, including but not being limited to, king, queen and double.

[0019] The fitted bed sheet 22 has a top surface 26 and a perimeter edge 28, and the perimeter edge 28 has a front side 30, a back side 32, a first lateral side 34 and a second lateral side 36. The first guide indicia 24 extend between the front side 30 and the back side 32 of the perimeter edge 28. Additionally, each of the lines 25 defined by the first guide indicia 24 is equidistant from a respective one of the first lateral side 34 or the second lateral side 36 of the perimeter edge 28. A distance between each of the lines 25 and the respective first lateral side 34 or the second lateral side 36 is at least equivalent to a height of the first sidelong side 18 and the second sidelong side 20 of the perimeter surface 16 of the mattress 12. Each of the lines 25 extends along an intersection between the top surface 14 of the mattress 12 and a respective one of the first sidelong side 18 or the second sidelong side 20 when the fitted bed sheet 22 is positioned on the mattress 12. Additionally, the first guide indicia 24 comprise embroidery exposed on the top surface 44, and the embroidery comprise the letters “NG”.

[0020] An unfitted bed sheet 38 is positionable on the mattress 12 when the fitted bed sheet 22 is positioned on the mattress 12. Second guide indicia 40 are printed on the unfitted bed sheet 38 and the second guide indicia 40 comprise a pair of lines 42 each spaced a strategic distance apart from each other which corresponds to a width of the mattress 12. In this way the second guide indicia 40 facilitate a user to accurately position the unfitted bed sheet 38 on the mattress 12. The unfitted bed sheet 38 has a top surface 44 and a perimeter edge 46, and the perimeter edge 46 of the unfitted bed sheet 38 has a front side 48, a back side 50, a first lateral side 52 and a second lateral side 54. The unfitted bed sheet 38 may be manufactured in a variety of sizes which match the various sizes of the mattress 12, including but not being limited to, king, queen and double.

[0021] The second guide indicia 40 extend between the front side 48 and the back side 50 of the perimeter edge 46 of the unfitted bed sheet 38. Each of the lines 42 defined by the second guide indicia 40 is equidistant from a respective one of the first lateral side 52 or the second lateral side 54 of the perimeter edge 46 of the unfitted bed sheet 38. Moreover, a distance between each of the lines 42 and the respective first lateral side 52 or the second lateral side 54 of the perimeter edge 46 of the unfitted bed sheet 38 is at least equivalent to a height of the first sidelong side 18 and the second sidelong side 20 of the perimeter surface 16 of the mattress 12. Each of the lines 42 defined by the second guide indicia 40 extend along an intersection between the top surface 44 of the mattress 12 and a respective one of the first sidelong side 18 or the second sidelong side 20 when the unfitted bed sheet 38 is positioned on the mattress 12. The second guide indicia 40 comprise embroidery exposed on the top surface 44 of the unfitted bed sheet 38, and the embroidery comprise the letters “NG”.

[0022] In use, the fitted bed sheet 22 is positioned on the mattress 12 such that each of the lines 42 defined by the first guide indicia 24 are aligned with the respective first sidelong side 18 and second sidelong side 20 of the perimeter surface 16 of the mattress 12. In this way the fitted bed sheet 22 can be accurately located on the mattress 12 to facilitate the fitted bed sheet 22 to properly fit the mattress 12. The unfitted bed sheet 38 is positioned on the mattress 12 when the fitted bed sheet 22 is positioned on the mattress 12. The lines 42 defined by the second guide indicia 40 are aligned with the respective first sidelong side 18 and second sidelong side 20 of the perimeter surface 16 of the mattress 12. In this way the unfitted bed sheet 38 can be accurately located on the mattress 12 to facilitate the unfitted bed sheet 38 to properly fit the mattress 12.
