    Description

    EXAMPLE 1

[0009] A baby carrier, according to the utility model, contains a carrying harness 1 formed by a hip strap 1a and at least two shoulder straps 1b, and attachment means for a carrying harness 1 to a child support portion 2, which contains a torso support portion 2a and a hip and thigh support portion 2b. The child support portion 2 has the form of a material belt, with the edges of the material belt sides equidistant from the longitudinal axis X of the child support portion 2. The bottom of the material belt ends with a tunnel 3 going perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis X. At the transition places of the upper edge of the torso support portion 2a the first shoulder straps 1b come into the edges of its sides, ended with the first parts of the shoulder buckle 1b1. Additionally, on each side of the torso support portion 2a, between the exit of the first shoulder strap 1b and the tunnel 3, the second shoulder strap 1c comes out, ended with the second part of the shoulder buckle 1c1. At the height of the tunnel 3 on each side of the child support portion 2 the third shoulder strap 1d comes out, ended with the second part of the shoulder buckle 1c1. The attachment means to connect the carrying harness 1 with a child support portion 2, is also located at the height of the tunnel 3. From the first short side of the hip strap 1a the left end of the hip belt 4 comes out ended with a first hip buckle 1a1 and on the other short side of the hip strap 1a the right end of the hip belt 4 comes out ended with a second hip buckle 1a2. The attachment means for the carrying harness 1 to the child support portion 2 is the hip belt 4, the central part of which is located in the tunnel 3, whereas the ends of the hip belt 4 pass through the openings 1a3 in the hip strap 1a. To increase the comfort of assembly and disassembly, the hip belt can be used in the form of a segment belt with additional buckles A and B and with hook-and-loop connection C situated on the cooperating fragments of the tunnel 3 surface and the hip belt 4. The carrier according to the present version allows for connection of the carrying harness 1 with the child support portion 2 in three different configurations. The traditional form is to attach the shoulder straps to the side straps attached to the side of the child support portion 2. Alternatively, the shoulder straps 1b1 can be fastened to the buckles 1c1 attached to the straps at the bottom of the child support portion 2. This allows the child's legs to be rolled up more strongly, causing less pressure on the child's spine, allows for a greater slack of the material on the child's back, which is important in the cases of increased muscle tension in children, found by medical services.
