Abstract
Bipod Shooting stick constructed of two tubular members with a main support member joined with a hinge. The second member supports the main member when in an open position, acting like a second leg. The main member has two fixed supports hooks for rifle positioning in standing and lower down for kneeling or sitting position of the firearm or other object requiring temporary immobilization or positioning. The main member has a top handle for handling of device with closed cell foam placed lower down for hand placement during walking and stalking. On the main Member is a spring clip to hold the support member in a closed position during walking and stalking. The Steadyshot has a spread stopper rope to support the two members in a fixed open position during the rifle aiming process. Both members has rubber plugs for member placement stability in various types of terrains.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0021] Bipod Shooting stick constructed of two tubular members of light weight material painted or non-painted in a matt finish of natural colors or even coated in camouflage material with a main support member and a secondary support member joined with a hinge device attached to the main support member to create a stable base. The support members can be manufactured in varying lengths accommodating the length or posture differences in users. The support member function is to support the main member when in an open position, acting like a second leg. The second leg gives side to side slidably when the hunter takes aim. The main member has two fixed mounted supports positions for standing rifle positioning and lower down for kneeling or sitting which a user may aim and/or shoot a firearm or other object requiring at least temporary immobilization or positioning. The main member has a top handle for general handling of device with closed cell foam placed lower down for comfortable hand placement during walking and stalking during the hunt. Mounted on the main Member below second rifle support is a spring clip that is designed to hold the support member in a resting position during walking and stalking process. Also mounted to the main member is the spread stopper rope that is mounted to both main and support member and stop the two members in a fixed open position during the rifle aiming process. Both main and support member has a rubber plug poisoned at the bottom to act as a comfortable padding of the Steadyshot as well as providing device placement stability in various types of terrains. The Steadyshot will now be described with reference to the drawings. The embodiment of the Steadyshot shooting sticks device illustratively disclosed herein suitably may be practiced in the absence of any element which is not specifically disclosed herein.
[0022] The shooting sticks device described herein are intended to be portable and constructed of relatively light weight materials such that a single user may easily transport the device in the field without assistance. The support members can be manufactured in varying lengths accommodating the length or posture differences in users. The shooting sticks devices described herein have the following two general modes:
[0023] Device is used as walking support. When in Open position the invention is ready to support said devices and primary being the support of a rifle in the aiming position during a hunt the hunter always return the Steadyshot to its closed position after a shot has been completed or when the hunter starts moving again.
[0024] The next figures show the hunting positions that the hunter can utilize during the hunt as the hunter need to decide in what the best position at the time will be and in

[0027]
[0028] The top handle is constructed of Non material can be bought from various suppliers for other functional purposes for Steadyshot the functional for handling the invention also for the hunter to hold and grasp the devise on the correct support for long lasting use, the top handle can also have a lanyard added to the top hole for hanging storage or esthetical value.
[0029]
[0030] The lower handle is functional for handling of the invention during the walking and stalking and also general carrying of the Steadyshot the material is of soft closed cell foam construction similar to fitness equipment to give the hunter a comfortable gripping point for control and long-lasting use.
[0031]
[0032]
[0033]
[0034] The lower rifle support is constructed of the same coated steel with a round shape as the top mount to support various forms of rifle stocks or any other device that require to be supported. The rifle support for the lower position is to be used for the kneeling or sitting shooting positions.
[0035]
[0036] Is constructed of hard nylon material but not limited to as metal type can adds to the overall weight of the invention. The hinge function is to join the two support members, main and secondary to form a support point at the hinge point. The hinge is located plus minus two thirds of the length to the top of the main support member to create a steady support point for the Steadyshot to effectively restrict side to side movement of the rifle during the taking aim print, the vertical movement is the determined by the user position and steadiness him/herself.
[0037]
[0038] The spring clip is constructed of spring steel material the placeholder for the support member and is positioned to hold the support member in position during the walking and stalking, transport or storage of the Steadyshot. The clip holds the support member in a parallel position with minimum force to the main member so the user can separate the members with ease to be able to position themselves with minimum effort to their target.
[0039]
[0040] Each member of the Steadyshot has a foot plug placed on the lower point that is constructed of a rubber type material can be bought from various suppliers for other functional purposes the foot plugs support the rigid placing of the Steadyshot invention relative to the hunter, the plugs aid in the grip to the placement surface as well as to reduce the noise from a possible hard stop noise, the plugs also prevent dirt from accumulating inside the hollow members on the Steadyshot members.
