Abstract
A new cultivar of Sedum plant named ‘Dolseb’ that is characterized by its upright, strong stems with suitability for use in large containers, its narrow leaves, its dark burgundy foliage, its well-branched growth habit, its resistance to mildew, its flowers that are red-pink in color and bloom in August to October in France, and its plant height of 40 cm.

DETAILED BOTANICAL DESCRIPTION
(6) The following is a detailed description of the new cultivar as observed on 2-year-old plants of ‘Dolseb’ as field grown in 17-cm containers in Geldermalsen, The Netherlands. The phenotype of the new cultivar may vary with variations in environmental, climatic, and cultural conditions, as it has not been tested under all possible environmental conditions. The color determination is in accordance with The 2015 Colour Chart of The Royal Horticultural Society, London, England, except where general color terms of ordinary dictionary significance are used. General description: Blooming period.—August to October in France. Plant type.—Herbaceous perennial. Plant habit.—Upright, well-branched, strong stems. Height and spread.—Average of 40 cm in height and about 50 cm in spread as a 2-year-old plant in the landscape. Hardiness.—At least hardy in U.S.D.A. Zones 5 to 9. Disease and pests.—Resistance to powdery mildew has been shown (typically caused by Erysiphe sedi, Eysiphe umbilici or Golvinomyces orontii). Root description.—Fibrous, 155A. Propagation.—Stem cuttings. Growth rate.—Moderately vigorous. Rooting.—Roots initiate in about 2 weeks, a young plant can be produced in a about 6 weeks in spring and summer. Pedicels.—Round in shape, an average of 3.5 mm in length and 1 mm in diameter, surface is glabrous, strong, 183A in color. Calyx.—5-parted, fused at base, 1.5 mm in length, 2.5 mm in width. Sepals.—5, average of 1.5 mm in length, 1 mm in width, campanulate in shape, entire margin, acute apex, fused base, both surfaces glabrous, both surfaces 137B in color and suffused with 183A. Petals.—5, spreading, 4 mm in length and 2 mm in width, lanceolate in shape, fused base, acute apex, entire margin, color; upper and lower surface when opening and fully open; base 155B, center and top 53C. Reproductive organs: Pistils.—5, showy, 4 mm in length 1 cm in diameter, stigma; minute, N155C in color, style; ovate, rounded in shape, cone like, and N74A in color, ovary; small, single celled and translucent in color. Stamens.—10, about 3 mm in length, 2 mm in diameter, filament; very fine, NN155D in color, anther; club shaped, 0.7 mm in length, 0.6 mm in width, N74A in color, pollen was not observed. Fruit.—Fruit and seed production has not been observed to date.
