Description
[0022] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to drawings. These show preferred embodiments of the smoking mouthpiece or smoking device according to the invention. Thus shows:
[0023] FIG. 1a the smoke mouthpiece according to the invention in side view,
[0024] FIG. 1b the smoke mouthpiece according to the invention in top view,
[0025] FIG. 2a an embodiment of the smoking device according to the invention,
[0026] FIG. 2b a representation of a detail of the smoking device of FIG. 2a,
[0027] FIG. 3 a further representation of the smoking device of FIG. 2a,
[0028] FIG. 4 a further embodiment of the smoking device according to the invention, and
[0029] FIG. 5 a further embodiment of the smoking mouth piece according to the invention.
[0030] FIG. 1a shows a side view of the smoke mouthpiece 1 according to the invention. The smoke mouthpiece 1 has a first and second tube section 3a 3b. A third, flexible or elastic tube section 3c is provided between the tube sections 3a, 3b. Via the bend-flexible tube section 3c, the second tube section 3b can be bent relative to the first tube section 3a. This allows an individual position of the second tube section 3b to be set. In the embodiment example, the third pipe section 3c is formed in the manner of a bellows 5. The entire smoke mouthpiece 1 shown here is manufactured in one piece as an injection-molded part. Of course, it is also possible for the three tube sections 3a, b, c to be provided as individual parts and connected to one another, for example by plugging or gluing, to form the smoke mouthpiece 1. It is also conceivable that, in the one-piece smoke mouthpiece 1, the material properties in the region of the third tube section 3c are set in such a way that this remains flexurally flexible or elastic, while the other two tube sections 3a, 3b are flexurally rigid. This configuration can of course also be achieved by varying the wall thickness w. FIG. 1a shows that the pipe sections 3a, 3b can have different wall thicknesses w. Through this, the flow rate and flow velocity of the smoke through the smoke mouthpiece 1 can be influenced. Also, the thickening of the wall thickness w influences the stability of the smoke mouthpiece 1.
[0031] First and second pipe sections 3a, 3b each have a free end 2a, 2b. The free end 2a of the first pipe section 3a is inserted into the end 11 of a smoke conduit 10 of a smoking device 4, for example the end of a smoke pipe 6 or a smoke hose 7, and is held there in a form-fitting manner. In order to further improve the connection between the smoke conduit 10 and the smoke mouthpiece 1, the smoke mouthpiece 1 can have additional structures in the region of the free end 2a of the first pipe section 3a, for example knobs 9 or longitudinal strips 13 (cf. FIG. 5), which project with respect to the outer surface 8 of the smoke mouthpiece 1. This improves the form fit between smoke mouthpiece 1 and smoke conduit 10 and prevents smoke from escaping there.
[0032] The diameter d is also variable when viewed over the length of the smoke mouthpiece 1. By cleverly combining wall thickness w and diameter d, the flow properties of the smoke can be influenced and improved by the smoke mouthpiece 1. For example, concentration of the smoke prior to inhalation can occur here, which significantly improves the smoking experience.
[0033] FIG. 1b shows the smoke mouthpiece 1 from FIG. 1a in a further illustration. It can be seen here that the free end 2b of the second section 3b is formed in such a way that this corresponds substantially to the smoke passage opening of a smoke conduit 10. The user of the smoking device 4 thus experiences no difference between inhaling directly from the smoke conduit 10 and inhaling with the smoke mouthpiece 1 inserted. However, the position of the free end 2b of the second tube section 3b can be adapted to the needs of the smoker by means of the third tube section 3c formed as a bellows 5 in the embodiment example FIG. 1.
[0034] FIG. 2a shows a preferred embodiment of a smoking device 4, in the embodiment example of a water pipe. The description of the individual components of the water pipe will be omitted here, since these are generally known. Shown in the embodiment example is a smoke conduit 10 formed as a smoke hose 7. On the end 11 of the smoke hose 7, in the embodiment example, a rigid, straight smoke pipe 6 is attached, which extends the smoke hose. This smoke pipe 6 serves as a handle and, as a rule, also as a mouthpiece. Shown in the embodiment example is the smoke mouthpiece 1 according to the invention inserted into the smoke pipe 6. The first tube section 3a is inserted into the end 11 of the smoke hose 7, while the second tube section 3b is bent relative to the first. This allows the position of the smoke outlet from the smoke pipe 6 to be adjusted to the smoker.
[0035] FIG. 2b shows a section of the smoke pipe 6 with inserted smoke mouthpiece 1. The smoke mouthpiece 1 can be designed as a reusable or disposable part. The connection between smoke mouthpiece 1 and smoke pipe 6 is made by positive locking. The free end of the first tube section has a conical area, which simplifies and improves the insertion and fixing of the smoke mouthpiece 1 in the smoke pipe 6. Of course, in all smoking devices, it is also possible to permanently fix the smoke mouthpiece 1, i.e. the end of the smoke conduit 10 is configured according to the smoke mouthpiece 1 according to the invention and can be adjusted accordingly.
[0036] FIG. 3 shows the components of the smoke conduit 10 in a separated state. Clearly visible is the smoke hose 7, into the end 11 of which the smoke pipe 6, a rigid tube section, can be inserted or fitted or molded in. The smoke mouthpiece 1 according to the invention can then be inserted into the front end of the smoke pipe 6 when the smoking device 4 is in use, and the position of the smoke outlet can be adjusted via the flexurally flexible section. Generally, the smoke pipe and smoke hose are fixedly or detachably connected to each other.
[0037] FIG. 4 shows a further embodiment of the smoking device 4. This also has a smoke conduit 10, which is designed as a smoke hose 7. In contrast to the embodiment according to FIG. 3, however, the smoke pipe 6 is missing here. The smoke mouthpiece 1 according to the invention is therefore inserted directly into the end 11 of the smoke hose 7. The smoke mouthpiece 1 thus not only has the function of extending the line but also serves as a handle at the same time. Nevertheless, the position of the smoke outlet is adjusted via the bending flexible tube section 3c and adapted to the smoker. Provided that the smoke mouthpiece 1 is suitably designed, it can additionally serve as a cooling section for the smoke. For this purpose, the smoke mouthpiece 1, which is of double-walled design, for example, can be filled with a cooling liquid which additionally extracts heat from the smoke supplied via the smoke conduit 10.
[0038] FIG. 5a shows a further embodiment of the smoke mouthpiece 1, which has a fourth tube section 3d, which in the embodiment example is designed as a removable chamber 12. This chamber 12 contains a coolant and can be cooled after removal from the smoke mouthpiece 1. Prior to actual consumption, for example of the water pipe, the cooled chamber 12 is then inserted into or pushed or slipped onto the smoke mouthpiece 1 and cools the smoke flowing through to be inhaled. This further enhances the smoking experience. Of course, the chamber 12 can also be integrated into the smoke mouthpiece 1, for example molded in or inserted between the tube sections 3a, 3b, 3c, or the entire smoke mouthpiece 1, including the chamber 12, can also be cooled. In a further development of the invention, the chamber 12 can also be formed as a ring or sleeve that can be plugged onto the smoke mouthpiece 1 or as a chamber 12 that completely or partially encloses the first and/or second tube sections 3a, 3b longitudinally. In this case, the ring or chamber 12 contains a coolant. The chamber 12 or the ring or the entire smoking mouthpiece 1 is cooled prior to use and is not attached to the smoking device 4 until the smoking device 4 is put into operation. Cooling enhances the smoking experience by allowing flavors in the smoke to be more prominent. In addition to the more or less round design shown here, cubic or cuboid as well as individual shapes can of course also be realized.
[0039] In the embodiment example of FIG. 5, the connection between smoke mouthpiece 1 and smoking device 4 or end of smoke hose 7 is improved by the fact that raised longitudinal strips 13 are provided on the first tube section 3a, preferably in the area of the first free end 2a on an outer surface. These structures on the first tube section 3a enable a force-locking connection, in particular insertion of the smoke mouthpiece 1 into the smoking device 4 or the end of the smoke conduit 10. The connection between the smoke mouthpiece 1 and the smoking device 4 or smoke conduit 10 is thus improved. In the embodiment example, the second tube section 3b, which is inserted into the smoker's mouth, also has knobs 9. This enables a better hold of the mouthpiece, for example between the teeth or lips of the smoker. Also, a marking of the mouthpieces can be made via the surface structure.
[0040] The last described modification of first and second tube sections 3a, 3b is not limited to the last described embodiment of the smoking mouthpiece 1 but can be used in all previously described embodiments. Also, the modification may be limited to first or second tube section 3a, 3b. Furthermore, the surface structure can optionally be formed as a corrugated, lamellar or strip structure in addition to those shown here.
