The difference between this jar and a conventional jar is that when the product contained within this jar is used down to the halfway point, the top half of this jar is unscrewed from the bottom half of the jar. The empty top half is then disposed of, and it's lid is now placed on the remaining content filled bottom half of the jar.

    Claims

    1. A new jar design that allows sticky, thick substances, e. g., peanut butter, mayonnaise, jelly, some chemicals, to be removed more thoroughly from the jar. This is accomplished by the top half of the jar unscrewing and separating from the bottom half of the jar.

[0003] The accompanying drawings, which are included to provide further understanding of the invention and are incorporated in and constitute a part of the invention and together with the description serve to explain the principles of the invention.

    [0004] In the drawings:

[0005] FIG. 1. Is the side view of the entire jar.

[0006] FIG. 2. Is a side view depicting the top component of the jar.

[0007] FIG. 3. Is a side view depicting the bottom component of the jar.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERMENTS

[0008] The present invention as shown in FIGS. 1 thru 3, is for a jar that separates in half to allow more easy access to the contents in the bottom half of the jar. The jar can be of any capacity. This jar can be made of any material, such as plastic, glass, or ceramic. Viewed In FIG. 1 is a depiction of the two components screwed together to create the jar, top component 11 and bottom component 12. The FIG. 2 drawing shows the top component has no bottom and has threading on the inside of the bottom rim. 13. FIG. 3 shows the bottom component 12 has a sealed bottom just like any conventional jar. The bottom component has threading on the outside of the top rim 14. The top component screws onto the top of the bottom component. Screwed together, component A and component B create one jar whose contents would be entered through the top of component A and pass thru to component B. When necessary, the jar unscrews into it's two components. The lid, which was once used on the top component which is now empty and discarded, will be reused to seal the bottom component.

[0009] While in the foregoing specifications this invention has been described in relation to certain preferred embodiments thereof, and many details have been set forth for the purposes of illustration, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the invention is susceptible to additional embodiments and that certain of the details described herein can be varied considerably without departing from basic principles of the invention.
