Girdle With Double Crotch Construction

Abstract

This improved girdle consists primarily of left and right thigh openings having inseams, bottom seams and closing members positioned along the inseams. The closing members traverse the top and bottom crotches of the girdle and extend downward toward the lower seams of the girdle. The left side closing member enclosing the left thigh opening while leaving an opening between the outer crotch section of the left side opening and the outer crotch section of the right side opening. The top and bottom crotches have a generally rectangular configuration and overlie the crotch area of the wearer. The left side closing member begins at a point just above the bottom seams of the left side thigh opening and extends upwardly below the top crotch. The right side closing member beginning at a point above the bottom seams of the right side thigh opening and extends above the bottom crotch.

Claims

1. A form fitting body girdle of a flexible material comprising: a. a left thigh opening and a right thigh opening; b. said left thigh opening having inseams, bottom seams, a left side closing member, a bottom crotch, an inner crotch section and an outer crotch section; said left side closing member being positioned along the inseams of said left side thigh opening; said left side closing member traversing said bottom crotch of said girdle thereby opening said bottom crotch and extending down towards the lower seams of said girdle; said left side closing member enclosing said left thigh opening while leaving an opening between said outer crotch section of said left side thigh opening and said outer crotch section of said right side opening; said bottom crotch having a generally rectangular configuration and overlie the crotch area of the wearer; said bottom crotch having marginal edges and said marginal edges being connected to said marginal edges of the top crotch of said right thigh opening; said left side closing member opens down towards the thighs of the user; said left side closing member beginning at a point above said bottom seams of the let side thigh opening and extends upwardly below said top crotch; c. said right side thigh opening having inseams, bottom seams, closing member, a top crotch, an inner crotch section and an outer crotch section; said right side closing member being positioned along the inseams of said right side thigh opening; said right side closing member traversing the crotch area of said girdle thereby opening said top crotch and extending down towards the bottom seams of said girdle; said right side closing member enclosing said right thigh opening and being disposed above said bottom crotch of said left side thigh opening; said top crotch having a generally rectangular configuration and overlie the crotch area of the wearer; said top crotch area having marginal edges and said marginal edges being connected to said marginal edges of said bottom crotch of said left side thigh opening; said right side closing member opens down towards the thigh of the user; said right side closing member beginning at a point above said bottom seams of said right side thigh opening and extends above said bottom crotch of said left side thigh opening.

2. The girdle of claim 1 whereby said girdle provides the wearer with a comfortable garment that presents an accessible opening into said crotch area.

3. The girdle of claim 1 wherein said bottom crotch of said left side thigh opening overlaps said top crotch of said right side thigh opening in said crotch area.

4. The girdle of claim 1 wherein said left side closing member and said right side closing member are the same size.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0027] This form-fitting girdle 10 according to several embodiments of this invention provides a unique and functional garment that is comfortable to wear and has an overall attractive appearance. The girdle 10 is constructed from a durable fabric material and features novelty, utility, efficiency of use and practicality. There has been a great demand in the marketplace for shape wear that are comfortable, have flexible compression abilities, promotes proper feminine hygiene and are convenient to use.

[0028] A form fitting body girdle 10 of a durable material is presented. The girdle 10 having a left thigh opening 12 and a right thigh opening 14, The left thigh opening 12 has an inseam 16, bottom seams 18, a left side closing member 22, a bottom crotch 24, an inner crotch section 26 and an outer crotch section 28. The left side closing member 22 is positioned along the inseams 16 of the left side thigh opening 12. The left side closing member 22 traversing the bottom crotch 24 of the girdle 10 thereby opening said bottom crotch 24 and extending down towards the bottom seams 18 of the girdle 10. The left side closing member 22 encloses the left thigh opening 12 while leaving an opening between the outer crotch section 28 of said left side opening 12 and the outer crotch section 54 of said right side thigh opening 14.

The bottom crotch 24 has marginal edges 36 and the marginal edge 36 are connected to the inseams 16 of the left thigh opening 12. The left side closing member 22 beginning at a point above the bottom seams 18 of the let side thigh opening 12 and extends upwardly below said top crotch 48.

The right side closing member 46 is positioned along the inseams 42 of the right side thigh opening 14. The right side closing member 46 traverses the crotch area 11 of the girdle 10 thereby slitting said top crotch 48 and extending down towards the lower seams 58 of the girdle 10. The right side closing member 46 encloses the right thigh opening 14 and is disposed above the bottom crotch 24 of the left side thigh opening 14.

The top crotch 48 has marginal edges 62 and the marginal edges 62 are connected to the marginal edges 36 of the bottom crotch 24. The right side closing member 46 begins at a point above the inseams 42 of the right side thigh opening 14 and extends above the bottom crotch 24.

This invention utilizes and combines new ideas in a new configuration in order to overcome a long felt need in the art.

The design as described herein may be integrated into girdles, sport-wear, swimsuits, body shapers, undergarments, athletic wear, compression clothing and various types of form-fitting garments.
