    Abstract

    The utility model discloses a thin, soft and flexible satin hair edge protector. Outside surface consist of a smooth satin material. Inside embedment, a soft felt rectangular shaped cushion with symmetrical ends and a rounded front to mimic the contour of a human's hair edge. A thin layer of spray adhesive seals felt and satin together. The satin hair edge protector's fabric edges are trimmed and secured closed by sewing thread. A clear fray solution is applied around the sewn cut edge to prevent unraveling. A double sided adhesive strip accompanies the posterior side and serves as the attachment between the satin hair edge protector and wig. The satin hair edge protector is designed to be simple, and easy to assemble inside wig. Also the utility model is unique to its kind, thin in shape, relieves hair edge irritation which may cause hair loss, promotes comfort and stabilizes wig placement.

    Claims

    1. The satin hair edge protector is unique, thin, and flexible in structure: characterized by a satin material that covers the outer top and bottom surface, the soft felt cushion which is the middle embedment and serves as the desired shape; being a curved arch structure to mimic the contour of a humans hair edge line with rounded ends on both sides to fit comfortably above the natural ear line; an adhesive agent bonds satin and felt together for extra security and longer wear, the sewing thread is the reinforcement mechanism that is sown around the bonded edges where the outer top and bottom satin surfaces met, all excess satin fabric trimmed off and a anti fray solution applied to trimmed edges to prevent the unraveling of the satin fabric, the satin hair edge protector posterior side has an adhesive double sided strip which attaches to the back of edge protector, the adhesive strip is the attachment between satin hair edge protector and the front portion of the human wig.

    2. According to claim 1 as such that, the satin hair edge protector relieves hair edge irritation which leads to hair lose when long wear of a human wig is being utilized.

    3. According to claim 1 as such that, the satin hair edge protector promotes comfort which is provided by the soft felt cushion that's embedded within its structure.

    4. According to claim 1 as such that, the satin hair edge protector stabilizes human wig placement, giving the human wig a snug fit upon consumers head without having to tighten the wig straps.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION AND BEST MODE OF IMPLEMENTATION
