    Description

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING(S)

[0011] The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

[0012] FIG. 1 is an isometric view of a wall-mounted shower and blower apparatus according to an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0013] FIG. 2 is a detail view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0014] FIG. 3 is a front elevation view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0015] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 3 thereof, a new shower device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

[0016] As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 3, the wall-mounted shower and blower apparatus 10 generally comprises a shower box 12 having an open box front side 14, a box glass side 16, a pair of shower walls 18, and a shower floor 20 having a drain 22. The shower box 12 has a rigid frame 24 extending along all edges to allow the open box front side 14 and the box glass side 16 to be free standing. A shower door 26 is coupled to the shower box 12. The shower door 26 is pivotably coupled to the open box front side 14. The shower door 26 may have a door frame 28 and a glass door panel 30 coupled to the door frame 28. A handle 32 may be coupled to the glass door panel 30.

[0017] A pair of wall panels 34 is coupled to the shower box 12. The pair of wall panels 34 is coupled within the pair of shower walls 18. The pair of wall panels 34 may alternatively be configured to be coupled directly to the walls of a bathroom within a shower. Each wall panel 34 has a plurality of shower apertures 36 and a plurality of blower apertures 38 extending from a panel front side 40 through a panel back side 42. Each wall panel 34 may be rectangular prismatic.

[0018] A plurality of shower heads 44 is coupled to each wall panel 34. The plurality of shower heads 44 is coupled to the plurality of shower apertures 36 and is configured to be in fluid communication with a hot water line 46 and a cold water line 48. Each shower head 44 has a plurality of water nozzles 50 and a shower adjustment ring 52. The shower adjustment ring 52 controls which of the plurality of water nozzles 50 are open and closed to adjust the spray pattern and pressure of water leaving the shower head 44. The plurality of shower heads 44 may be arranged in a vertical array to directly spray the user's whole body with maximum pressure.

[0019] A plurality of shower controls 54 is coupled to each panel 34. The plurality of shower controls 54 is coupled adjacent the plurality of shower heads 44 and is configured to be in operational communication with the hot water line 46 and the cold water line 48. Each shower control 54 may comprise a hot water control 56 and a cold water control 58 configured to control the flow of water from the hot water line 46 and the cold water line 48, respectively, to the adjacent shower head 44. Each of the hot water control 56 and the cold water control 58 may be a shower button 60 disposed on opposite sides of the shower head 44. The shower button 60 may have an integrated timer to release water for a preset period of time after being depressed before automatically shutting off.

[0020] A plurality of blower heads 62 is coupled to each wall panel 34. The plurality of blower heads 62 is coupled to the plurality of blower apertures 38 and is configured to be in fluid communication with a blower duct line 64 connected to a blower 66. The blower 66 may have an integrated heater to warm the air before being blown through the blower duct line 64. Each blower head 62 has a plurality of air nozzles 68 and a blower adjustment ring 70. The blower adjustment ring 70 controls which of the plurality of air nozzles 68 are open and closed to adjust the flow pattern and pressure of the air leaving the blower head 62. The plurality of blower heads 62 may be arranged in a vertical array aligned with, and alternating between, the plurality of shower heads 44 to directly blow onto the user's whole body with maximum pressure. Each blower head 62 may be smaller than each shower head 44.

[0021] A plurality of blower controls 72 is coupled to each wall panel 34. The plurality of blower controls 72 is coupled adjacent the plurality of blower heads 62 and is configured to be in operational communication with the blower duct line 64. Each blower control 72 may be a blower button 74 disposed adjacent the respective blower head 62 to release air as desired onto different parts of the user's body. The blower button 74 may also have an integrated timer to run for a preset period of time.

[0022] In use, the user manipulates the plurality of shower controls 54 and the shower adjustment ring 52 of each shower head 44 to wash his body without significant bending. He or she may then use the plurality of blower controls 72 and the blower adjustment ring 70 of each blower head 62 to dry off.

[0023] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0024] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
