INSPIRATIONAL TALKING TOYS

Abstract

This invention relates to toys for children. Particularly, the invention provides Inspirational, Bible/Biblical verses, messages and mini songs through an SD Card Reader device inside the toy that can be heard once the buttons located in different places (arm, leg etc.) connected to the device are pushed. The advantage of the toy is that it will recite the inspirational and/or biblical information in a youthful way so that the children are interested and can understand the meaning of the different Inspirational, Bible/Biblical verses, messages and mini songs; and it will be safe for children to play with and the audio files installed on the SD Card will be under parental control. The inspirational and/or biblical information derived from within the toy by software reading the SD Card, written in a proprietary fashion so as to ensure only messages created for the product can be played via the SD Card Reader on the plush toy, therefore ensuring that no other unsuitable material can be played/listened too on the toy or through the G Kingdom Games Application (App).

Claims

1. A plush toy capable of reciting inspirational and/or biblical information comprising: an assembly structure of a body (11), neck (8), head (7), left arm (10). right arm (9), left hand (10a), right hand (9a), left leg (13), right leg (12), left foot (13a), and right foot (12a), in quantities of at least one each, manufactured from a plush material; an internal stuffing assembly of small pieces of plush material to enable the toy to be pliable; a battery operated audio player (15) with a built in SD card reader (20) and speaker (16) positioned in the main body of the toy, wherein the SD Card Reader contains software to ensure only specific manufacturer messages can be played; an activation button (2) to allow the toy to be switched from the “on” mode to the “off” mode; a main activation button (11) positioned on the external surface of the main body of the toy, which allows the toy to be turned on/off; secondary activation buttons (3, 4, 5, 6) positioned on the external surface of the right hand (9a), left hand (10a), right foot (12a) and left foot (13a), connected to the audio player (15) by wires (18), which allow activation of the audio player (15).

A plush toy capable of reciting inspirational and/or biblical information as claimed in claim 1, wherein: the audio files stored on the SD card reader may be down loaded from the manufacturers website, the SD card reader being manufactured to only allow these down loaded (or preloaded by the manufacturer) audio files to be played on the toy or through the G Kingdom Games Application (App).

3. A plush toy capable of reciting inspirational and/or biblical information as claimed in claim 2, wherein the assembly structure of the body may further comprise two plush wings (21), a baby FIG. 22), and optionally be dressed in appropriate nativity clothing (23a, 23b, 23c).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0018] The present invention has the form of a plush toy/doll 1 comprising an SD Card/Audio Function 15 with speaker 16 and SD Card Reader 20. Assembly of plush toy 1 comprises of body 11, head 7, neck 8, right arm 9, left arm 10, right leg 12 & left leg 13 in quantities of one each. The invention is designed for children of age two and upwards.

[0019] This toy has a first activation step. This activation step “turns the toy on”. Toy can be activated/deactivated (“turned on/off”) by pressing a button located on body 11 in place of heart 2. Upon activation toy says “hello” or plays the sound of laughter. Biblical phrases or prayers can be activated by pressing buttons 3, 4 located on right hand 9a and left hand 10a or by pushing buttons 5, 6 located on right foot 12a and left foot 13a which are inside the toy connected to SD Card/Audio Function 15 by wires 18. As long as operator will continue to push the buttons, toy will continue to repeat several various random Inspirational, Bible/Biblical verses, messages and mini songs. Parents can decide which Inspirational, Bible/Biblical verses, messages and mini songs or in what language Inspirational, Bible/Biblical verses, messages and mini songs should be heard by downloading chosen audio files from the website or by purchasing a manufactured SD Card from the outlet supplying the toy, inserting a new or revised SD Card into the toy's SD Card Reader 20. The SD Card Reader can be found underneath zipper 14 on the back of the doll 1. All quotes, stories and mini songs (such as story of Ruth, Solomon etc. . . . ) and prayers included in the invention will be recited verbatim from the Holy Bible/publisher that is available to everyone so that children can re-verify that information is correct as they get older. To work properly invention needs batteries 19 which should be inserted into battery compartment 17. Battery compartment is located inside the toy 1 and can be accessed by undoing a zip 14 located at the back of the toy.

[0020] The invention will be available in a number of variations, like angel 1a with two plush wings 21, mother 1b holding a baby 22 in upright position or father 1c holding a baby 22 in upright position. Each doll 1a, 1b, 1c will be dressed in nativity clothes 23a, 23b, 23c which will suggest a religious intention of the toy.
