CHILD DEVELOPMENTAL SYSTEM

Abstract

A carrier sack with a first fastener along a surface portion thereof is provided. The present invention facilitates a blank landscape for children to play with objects having a second fastener that can be detachably mated to the first fastener so that when finished, the child can put the objects in the carrier sack, by turning it inside out, or may leave the objects on top of the carrier sack for display, without falling off. The plurality of objects may be adapted to have upward facing eye elements for developmental engagement with the child-user while the child is partially enveloped through an opening of the carrier sack.

Claims

1. A child development system, comprising: a plush material joined along its peripheral edges so as to form a sack having an opening dimensioned and adapted to receive the lower body of a human child; a first fastener provided along a first surface of the plush material; and a plurality of objects, each object having a foundational portion and an opposite facing head portion, wherein each foundational portion provides a second fastener adapted to removably attached to the first fastener, and wherein the head portion provides eye elements facing away from the foundational portion.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the sack is reversible.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein each object is shaped in the form of a stuffed animal, wherein the head portion is the head of the stuffed animal.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein the eye elements are adapted for developmental engagement with the human child.

5. The system of claim 4, wherein the eye elements are oriented between twenty and seventy degrees relative to the second fastener in a planar orientation.

6. The system of claim 1, further providing a sealable pocket on a second surface of the plush material that is shared on an opposing side by the first surface.

7. A child development system, comprising: a plush material joined along its peripheral edges so as to form a reversible sack having an opening dimensioned and adapted to receive the lower body of a human child; a first fastener provided along a first surface of the plush material; a plurality of objects, each object having a foundational portion and an opposite facing head portion, wherein each foundational portion provides a second fastener adapted to removably attached to the first fastener, and wherein the head portion provides eye elements facing away from the foundational portion, wherein each object is shaped in the form of a stuffed animal, wherein the head portion is the head of the stuffed animal, wherein the eye elements are adapted for developmental engagement with the human child by being oriented between twenty and seventy degrees relative to the second fastener in a planar orientation; and a sealable pocket on a second surface of the plush material that is shared on an opposing side by the first surface.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0019] The following detailed description is of the best currently contemplated modes of carrying out exemplary embodiments of the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made merely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention, since the scope of the invention is best defined by the appended claims.

[0020] Broadly, an embodiment of the present invention provides a carrier sack with a first fastener along a surface portion thereof. The present invention facilitates a blank landscape for children to play with objects having a second fastener that can be detachably mated to the first fastener so that when finished, the child can put the objects in the carrier sack, by turning it inside out, or may leave the objects on top of the carrier sack for display, without falling off. The plurality of objects may be adapted to have upward facing eye elements for developmental engagement with the child-user while the child is partially enveloped through an opening of the carrier sack.

[0021] Referring now to FIGS. 1 through 9, the present invention may include a carrier sack 10 and a plurality of objects 22. Each object 22 may extend from a foundational portion 44 to an opposing head portion 40. The head portion 40 may provide two eye elements 38 oriented to face upwardly, in a direction generally away from the foundational portion 44. The foundational portion 44 may be adapted to support the object 22 on a flat supporting surface so that the head portion 40 stands upright and the two eye elements 38 are oriented upward. An object fastener 24 may be provided along a bottom side of the foundation portion 44. The object fastener 24 may be a hook and loop fastener or the like.

[0022] The plurality of objects 22 may include stuffed animals, “sack bling”, or the like. The animal legs can be designed to flop out, tuck under or remain flush to the object/animal body to allow for sticking to the carrier sack 10. Furthermore, each object/animal may be designed so as to “look upwardly” as if actively engaged in play. Object/animals can be made of multiple vibrant colors that include but not limited to tuff of hair, embroidered eyes or plastic oval shape eyes all with expressive eyebrows, and smile, some with paws of different colors including hoop/loop material for attachment purposes. Sack bling may be made of elastic material or foam, that is thick and flat and can range from animals, letters, shapes, numbers, or the other objects that may add landscape alongside animal objects. All objects 22, animals and sack bling, provide object fastener 24 to removably attach to the carrier sack 10.

[0023] Referring to FIGS. 5-9, the carrier sack 10 may be formed by joining a front and a rear planar sheet 12, 14 of material along a closed portion of the front and rear sheet edge, whereby an opening 18 may be formed along an open portion of the front and rear sheet edge. The front and rear sheets 12, 14 each provide external surfaces and internal surface. Both front and rear planar sheets 12, 14 may provide a plush comfortable material along its respective interior and/or exterior surface, such plush material may be cotton/polyester fleece or the like. Along one external surface of the carrier sack 10 a fastener pad 20 may be provided for releasably securing object fasteners 24 thereto. And so the plurality of objects 22 may be secured, removed, and re-secured along.

[0024] Referring to FIGS. 7-9, one or both interior surfaces 16 may provide a pocket 32 having a flap 34 movable between a sealed and unsealed position by way of a pocket fastener 36. In certain embodiments, the pocket 32 may provide a display surface 28 for communicating a message or symbol, such as a logo.

[0025] The opening 18 is dimensioned and adapted to receive a lower portion of a child user 26 so that they may place their lower portion therein and look down at and engage the upward facing eye elements 38 of objects 22, as illustrated in FIG. 1.

[0026] The carrier sack 10 may be adapted to be reversible, wherein a predetermined selection of objects 22 laid out and secured to the second fastener 22 may be hidden from view, so that the carrier sack 10 may be later reversed again to recreate the same layout of the predetermined selection of objects 22. A strap (not shown) may be provided for carrying the carrier sack 10. Eyelets (not shown) may be provided by the carrier sack 10 to enable the strap or attaching other objects thereto.

[0027] A method of using the present invention may include the following. The carrier sack 10 and the plurality of objects 22 disclosed above may be provided. The present invention enables the creation of countless imaginary landscapes for children to play with the objects 22, whereby the two eye elements 38 would be looking up at any user if the present invention were laying on a lower supporting surface. When finished, users may put the objects 22 through the opening 18 and into the carrier sack 10 or, alternatively, may turn the carrier sack 10 inside out for the same result. Optionally, a user may leave the objects 22 on top of the carrier sack 10 for display, without falling off.
