An aerosol generating system for generating a respirable dry powder aerosol from a liquid solution or liquid suspension, having: a liquid aerosol generating nozzle having a nozzle input end designed to receive the liquid solution or liquid suspension, and having a nozzle heliox supply designed to receive nozzle heliox, the liquid aerosol generating nozzle further having a nozzle output end for outputting a liquid aerosol suspended in the nozzle heliox; and a cylindrical evaporation chamber having a cylindrical evaporation chamber input end that is connected to the nozzle output end and connected to a dilution heliox supply for receiving both the liquid aerosol suspended in the nozzle heliox and for receiving the dilution heliox, and the cylindrical evaporation chamber having a cylindrical evaporation chamber output end outputting a first intermediate dry powder aerosol at a first intermediate dry powder aerosol volume flow of a specific concentration.

There is provided a skin-care balm comprising 15% to 45% (w/w) of two or more waxes, wherein a first wax has a melting point of 70° C. to 90° C. and a second wax has a melting point of 30° C. to 60° C., the balm further comprising 45% to 70% (w/w) of an emollient and a skin soothing agent. The skin-care balm can be applied to the skin in the perinasal area. There is also provided a combination product comprising a skin-care balm and a nasal spray product.

A combination product comprising a dispensing head (10, 10′) mounted on a top of a container (20, 20′) containing a formulation for nasal administration, and a solidified skin-care balm (50) for application around the nose contained in a balm holder element (30, 30″) located on a bottom (24) of the container (20).

A dry powder inhaler for a capsule containing dry powder, the inhaler comprising a housing having a capsule receptacle, two actuator buttons arranged on opposing sides of the housing and two perforation needles, each needle being fixedly connected to an actuator button and movable relative to the housing towards each other from a normal position to a perforation position along an actuation direction to perforate a capsule arranged in the capsule receptacle, wherein a first end of each actuator button is connected to the housing at a lower portion of the housing and in that a second free end of each actuator button is movable into the perforation position such that the perforation needle is moved along a circular line.

An electronic device for producing an aerosol for inhalation by a person includes a mouthpiece located at one of opposite longitudinal ends of the device; a liquid container; a transducer that, when actuated, causes a liquid from the container to be aerosolized such that the aerosol may be inhaled from the device by a person through the mouthpiece; and circuitry and a power supply for actuating the transducer. The mouthpiece, the container, and the transducer are located in-line along a longitudinal axis of a housing of the device extending between the opposite longitudinal ends of the device. The container is located between and separates the transducer and the mouthpiece. The container and the transducer are contained within a cartridge that is insertable into and removable from the housing of the device. The container and the transducer are replaceable by the person when the liquid in the container is depleted.

A spray device includes a mouthpiece that accommodates a spray nozzle unit. The spray nozzle unit is operatively connected to a liquid reservoir to receive a pressurized liquid to be sprayed. A connection between the spray nozzle unit and the liquid reservoir is effected by a flexible tube that connects at one end substantially fixedly to the mouth piece in fluid communication with the spray nozzle device. The liquid reservoir is interchangeably coupled to the opposite end of the flexible tube and, preferably, comprises a standard syringe. A spray delivery device comprises a holder for holding the syringe and has at least one manipulator member that is configured to impose an enhanced force on the plunger.

An assistance device for a product dispensing device is provided, in which product dispensing is implemented by displacement or deformation of a moving part of the dispensing device between a rest position and an activation position. The assistance device includes an engaging unit, a locking unit configured to prevent the dispensing of the product, an actuator configured to switch the locking unit from a locked position to an unlocked position, a return unit configured to switch the locking unit from the unlocked position to the locked position, out of the activation position of the product dispensing, a blocking unit for blocking the locking unit in the unlocked position, a first disengagement member for disengaging the blocking unit configured to be triggered upon the activation of the dispensing device, and a second disengagement member for disengaging the blocking unit configured to be triggered independently of the activation of the dispensing device.

A nebulizer for producing an inhalable mist of droplets, comprising at least an aerosol generator, a housing having a liquid reservoir and control electronics, the aerosol generator consisting at least of a membrane, a piezo element and a substrate plate, and the control electronics comprising at least an RF generator, a controller, memory and switching elements, and an inductor. The aerosol generator forms a resonant circuit together with the inductor and the control electronics are configured to at least partly excite the aerosol generator to vibrate. The aerosol generator is configured such that aerosol droplets are producible by vibrations and the RF generator is configured to vary the amount of aerosol produced.

An essential oil reflux-type atomizer comprising the following structures: chassis, housing, atomization chamber, gas pump, gas tube, gas nozzle, oil nozzle, and filter atomization mechanism. The filter atomization mechanism is installed in the housing and has an upper filter and a lower filter. The essential oil atomizer can be improved efficiency and reduced noise level.

An atomizer device comprises a container (20) with a liquid chamber (21) for receiving a liquid for atomizing and a spray nozzle (50) which is able and configured to form a mist from the liquid under an increased operating pressure. The liquid chamber (21) is closed by a plunger (22) which is received movably therein and is able and configured to expel during an axial displacement at least a part of the liquid from the liquid chamber. Provided between the plunger (22) and the spray nozzle (50) is an air bubble barrier (80) which is at least substantially unbridgeable to possible air bubbles in the liquid, but which comprises a passage (85) for the purpose of allowing at least substantially free passage of the liquid. In a method for preparing such a container it is subjected to a centrifuging step in order to expel possibly enclosed air upstream of the barrier device as far as possible.
