NITRIC OXIDE NASAL DELIVERY APPARATUS AND METHODS
Systems, products, compounds and methods can be applied and/or used by a person to facilitate and promote the production of nitric oxide to be used by a person for health benefits. The systems, products, and devices include a nitric oxide nasal delivery system. The system can comprise one or more containers for compounds that when mixed are adapted to produce nitric oxide gas, at least one container with a nitrite compound and at least one container with an acid compound. Containers can be ruptured so that the compounds may be mixed and produce nitric oxide gas. The nitric oxide gas may then be delivered to a user via one or more of the nasal cavities and/or mouth.
DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS
Systems and methods of an electronic drug delivery system for use in a treatment program (e.g., a smoking cessation program). The delivery system can include a mobile platform and a hand-held inhalation delivery device having a controller circuit coupled to a power source, sensors, aerosolizer drivers, and a rescue button, and a pod removably coupled to the delivery device. The delivery system generates an aerosol mixture from substances in the pod in accordance with the treatment program, and delivers the aerosol mixture for inhalation by a user. The controller circuit individually and dynamically controls the aerosolizer drivers to generate signals that drive a plurality of thermal, or non-thermal, aerosolizers of the pod to generate individually tailored aerosol mixtures from multiple substances in the aerosolizer pod. The generated aerosol mixtures can have various percentages of the substances, and have different aerosol droplet sizes during different portions of the treatment program.
INHALATION AID
[Problem] Provided is an inhalation aid with which a patient may arbitrarily adjust the drug inhalation timing with ease without relying on valve structure. [Solution] An inhalation aid 100 mounted on a spout port of an atomization type inhaler comprises a cylindrical main body part 10, an introduction port 20 which is provided on one end side of the main body part 10 and introduces, into the main body part 10, drug particles dispersed from the spout port of the inhaler, a wall surface part 30 provided on the other end side of the main body part 10 and at the position opposed to the introduction port 20, and an inhalation port 40 which is provided on a side surface of the main body part 10 and from which the drug particles dispersed into the main body part 10 are inhaled, wherein the inhalation port 40 extends along the tangent line direction of the main body part 10.
FOAM INHALATION DEVICE AND CARTRIDGE
A foam inhalation device (874) for dispensing a foam to be inhaled by a user. The inhalation device (874) comprises a foam-generating component for generating the foam, an outlet (882) for dispensing the foam to the user, and a fluid flow path which fluidly communicates the foam-generating component with the outlet (882). The foam is generatable by the foam-generating component and flows to the outlet (882) via the fluid flow path to be inhaled by the user.
Aerosol provision system having a base for supporting one or more receptacles
An aerosol provision system includes one or more receptacles each forming a respective central space, a base adapted to support the or each receptacle, the or each receptacle being removable from the base and at least a first airflow generator, operable to draw air through at least a first aerosol generator, wherein the base includes one or more outlets through which, in operation, aerosolized payload is directed to flow from the base into the central space of a respective receptacle and the or each receptacle comprises a first opening through which the user can inhale the aerosolized payload.
Medicine storage cartridge with nozzle, sprayer therefor, and powdered medicine dispensing device for nasal cavity
A nozzled cartridge (20) for storing medicine, according to an aspect of the present application, includes a medicine container (21) that is to be filled with a predetermined quantity of a powdered medicine, a nozzle portion (22) that is formed on the medicine container (21) and that ejects the powdered medicine, a closing member (24) that closes an opening (22a) in the nozzle portion (22), and a valve member (25) that functions as a plug to close another opening (23a) in the medicine container (21), and that is opened when administering medicine. The nozzled cartridge (20) is detachably mountable to a sprayer (30) when administering medicine.
Method for coating microstructured components
The present disclosure provides a method for the surface modification of microstructured components having a polar surface, in particular for high-pressure applications. According to the method, a microstructured component is contacted, in particular treated, with a modification reagent, wherein the surface properties of the component are modified by chemical and/or physical interaction of the component surface and of the modification reagent.
Spacer
An inhalation spacer movable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. The spacer is made from paperboard having a bending stiffness of at least 2.5 mNm.
Dosage form for vaporization and smoking
Embodiments of the disclosure relate to dosage forms intended for smoking, vaporization and/or inhalation and to methods for the preparations thereof.
