Systems and methods for gas mixing in ocular surgical equipment
A gas mixing system for providing mixed gas for intraocular injection. In some embodiments, a first fixed-volume chamber is automatically purged and filled with gas from a first gas supply input, to a first predetermined pressure. A second fixed-volume chamber is purged and filled with gas from a second gas supply input, to a second predetermined pressure. The first and second predetermined pressures are determined based on a desired concentration of gases in the final mix, and the respective volumes of the first and second fixed-volume chambers and of a third fixed-volume chamber. Gas from the first fixed-volume chamber is then allowed to mix with gas in the third fixed-volume chamber, which was previously purged. Next, gas from the second fixed-volume chamber is allowed to mix with gas in the third fixed-volume chamber. Finally, the mixture of gases in the third fixed-volume chamber is expressed into an intraocular syringe.
System, methodologies and components for skin sculpting with magnetic particles
A method, apparatus and components thereof enable stimulating synthesis of new collagen and elastic fibers in superficial tissues, of a human or other living subject by introducing magnetic particles into the superficial tissue and activating the magnetic particles by application of magnetic field to stimulate synthesis of new collagen and elastic fibers.

MICRONEEDLE PATCHES AND METHODS
Microneedle patches and systems, and methods for use of such patches and systems. In one aspect, a microneedle patch is provided including a tab portion for handling the microneedle patch. In another aspect, a system is provided including a microneedle patch and a tray for housing the microneedle patch. In still another aspect, various indicators providing for providing feedback prior to, during, and after administration of the microneedle patch are provided. Advantageously, the described microneedle patches and systems provide improved handling and ease of application of the microneedle patches to skin for the delivery of therapeutic agents.
MICRONEEDLE DELIVERY DEVICE WITH DETACHABLE HYBRID MICRONEEDLE DEPOTS FOR LOCALIZED DELIVERY OF CELLS
A delivery device or patch is disclosed that includes a detachable hybrid microneedle depot (d-HMND) for cell delivery. The system includes, in one embodiment, an array of microneedles formed from an outer PLGA shell and an internal gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA)-mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) mixture (GMM). The array of microneedles project from a base substrate layer that may be flexible. The therapeutic device may be applied to a tissue site of interest and the base substrate layer is removed leaving the hybrid microneedles in the tissue at the site of application to deliver MSCs. Other stem/therapeutic cells may also be delivered with the hybrid microneedles.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FAT AND CELLULITE REDUCTION USING RF ENERGY IN COMBINATION WITH MAGNETIC MUSCLE THERMOSTIMULATION (EMS)
A system for cosmetically treating a patient's skin or body with one or more EMS coils and/or RF electrodes mounted on a planar holder; a hydrogel containing gel pad, the gel pad being positionable between the holder and the skin tissue; wherein the gel pad being of a material that is biocompatible and conducts RF and/or EMS energy when EMS energy is applied from the one or more EMS coils; a programmable controller to activate the one or more EMS coils; the programmable controller, after the planar holder is applied to the skin tissue, being configured to activate one or more of the plurality of EMS coils to provide treatment in the form of stimulation to the skin tissue.

COSMETIC INJECTOR ON WHICH MICRONEEDLES FOR INDUCING ABSORPTION OF COSMETICS ARE MOUNTED, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
The present invention relates to a cosmetic injector on which microneedles for inducing the absorption of cosmetics are mounted, the injector comprising: an accommodation part for accommodating cosmetics; a head part having a flow path in through which cosmetics flow; a microneedle part which is fixed to the head part, and which is inserted into the skin so as to cause the cosmetics to penetrate the skin; and a pumping part for transferring, to the head part, the cosmetics accommodated in the accommodation part, wherein the head part includes: a first head part for receiving the cosmetics from the pumping part; and a second head part coupled to the upper portion of the first head part, and the microneedle part includes: a microneedle plate provided between the first head part and the second head part; and a plurality of microneedles which extend from the microneedle plate so as to protrude toward the upper surface of the second head part, and which guide, into the skin, the cosmetics discharged from the head part.
MICRONEEDLE PATCH APPLICATION SYSTEM
The present invention provides a microneedle patch application system designed to facilitate the simple and expeditious deployment of a microneedle patch onto a tissue substrate such as the skin, for drug delivery or other applications, the system including a microneedle patch including arrays of opposing microneedles and an applicator operable to deploy the patch onto the tissue substrate by displacing the patch from an undeployed to a deployed state.
NEEDLE-FREE INJECTOR USING PULSED SHOCK WAVES
The present invention relates to a needle-free injector using pulsed shock waves, the needle-free injector comprising: a power unit generating pulsed power; a pulsed shock wave generating unit which receives the pulsed power and generates pulsed shock waves; an upper housing in which a liquid and the pulsed shock wave generating unit are disposed; a lower housing which is connected to the upper housing, and in which a drug is disposed; a shock wave transmission unit which is provided between the upper housing and the lower housing to separate the upper housing and the lower housing; and an injection unit which is disposed in the lower housing and inject the drug.
