ELECTRICAL PLUG FOR A MEDICAL DEVICE
A dialysis machine comprising: a power supply for providing power to the dialysis machine, the power supply including a power supply cable that includes a first ground wire electrically connected to a first ground prong; and a hydraulics system for making dialysate, supplying the dialysate to a dialysate circuit, and draining spent dialysate from the dialysate circuit, the hydraulics system including a hydraulics grounding cable that includes a second ground wire electrically connected to a second ground prong.
Intubation drape
A medical drape which is positioned over the head and upper torso of a patient is disclosed which includes a head flap, a head portion, a torso portion, and two oppositely disposed arm portions. The head flap is of a sufficient length to extend about the backside of the patient's head. The head portion includes oppositely disposed side wings which aid in covering the head of a patient. Each arm portion includes an access slot extending through the arm portion.
AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE WITH AEROSOL SENSOR ASSEMBLY FOR DETECTING THE PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF THE GENERATED AEROSOL
An electronic aerosol safety system including at least one aerosol safety sensor for measuring or sensing parameters of a target in an aerosol stream and a warning device in communication with the sensor, wherein the warning device can provide a user with safety and efficacy information. There is also provided a method of increasing the safety of an aerosol delivery device by attaching or integrating the electronic aerosol safety system into an aerosol delivery system, monitoring the aerosol produced by the aerosol delivery device by detecting preset parameters using the electronic aerosol safety system and triggering a notification to a user of the aerosol delivery device, wherein the triggering occurs upon detection of a deviation from the preset parameters.
Electronic add-on module for injection appliances
The invention relates to an electronic add-on module which is fitted releasably onto an automatic injection appliance before the start of injection. The add-on module comprises a force sensor for measuring a time-variable axial force component exerted on or transmitted to the attached add-on module by the injection appliance during an injection procedure. The add-on module also comprises a grip or a preferred grip position for gripping and holding the add-on module and the inserted injection appliance. The add-on module can additionally have a microphone for detection of acoustic signals. A state of the injection appliance can be determined by the add-on module solely on the basis of measurements of the axial force sensor, optionally supplemented by microphone measurements. The invention thus affords a straightforward and cost-effective way of monitoring or controlling the correct performance of an injection procedure carried out with an automatic injection appliance.

APPLICATOR FOR TRACHEOSTOMA BASEPLATE
A tubular applicator is releasably connected at a first end to the collar of an adhesive peristomal baseplate to assist the user in positioning the baseplate around a tracheostoma on the user's neck, where the applicator defines an internal flowpath which is placed in fluid communication with the tracheostoma via the collar of the baseplate, and the flowpath opens outwardly via at least one outer aperture in the applicator, and where the at least one outer aperture has a total section area greater than a first section area of the flowpath at the first end of the applicator.
