Methods and pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of post-operative cognitive dysfunction
The present invention relates to methods and pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of post-operative cognitive dysfunction. In particular, the present invention relates to a method of treating post-operative cognitive dysfunction in a subject in need thereof comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of an APJ receptor agonist.
Carrier molecule compositions and related methods
A carrier molecule composition. Specific implementations may include: a carrier molecule including at least one cell penetrating peptide (CPP) where the carrier molecule may include at least one hydrophobic domain and where the carrier is non-covalently associated with a biologically active molecule in one of a micelle and a liposome.
NOVEL METHODS
Provided are methods of using (1R,5S)-1-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane, in free or pharmaceutically acceptable salt form.

METHODS RELATED TO BIOACTIVE AGENTS THAT CONVERT FROM ANIONS TO MOLECULES
Various aspects of this patent document relate to bioactive compositions comprising anions that are converted into hydrophobic bioactive molecules either ex vivo prior to administration to a subject or in situ subsequent to administration to a subject. Such compositions display improved bioavailability and pharmacokinetics relative to compositions that comprise the hydrophobic bioactive molecules instead of the anions.
NOVEL SMALL MOLECULE COMPOUND
The present invention relates to compositions and methods for the treatment of cancer and other diseases associated with mitochondrial dysfunction, including but not limited to, neurodegenerative disease, brain injuries, and certain non-neurological disorders, using a novel compound, 6-chloro-3-(2,4-dichloro-5-methoxyphenyl)-2-mercapto-7-methoxyquinazolin-4(3H)-one, and derivatives thereof.

Devices and systems for treating pain based on light therapy
Devices and systems for treating based on light therapy are disclosed. One example device includes an eyewear configured for placement in front of an eye to allow light to reach the eye, and one or more filters having transmission spectra within a range that approximately spans 450 to 570 nm associated with blue or green light. The one or more filters is configured to block light spectra outside of said range and to allow the blue or green light to reach the eye for administering light therapy to a subject exhibiting pain.
