09737474 · 2017-08-22 · ·

In one aspect, hair conditioning compositions are described herein. In some embodiments, a hair conditioning composition comprises a polymer or oligomer comprising (A) at least one hydrophilic block comprising an alkoxylated diol or amine-terminated derivative thereof and (B) at least one hydrophobic block comprising a condensation reaction product of (i) a dicarboxylic acid or dicarboxylic acid equivalent and (ii) a diamine, amino alcohol, diol, or combination thereof. The hydrophilic block (A) and the hydrophobic block (B) are bonded together through an amide or ester linkage. In addition, the polymer or oligomer comprises at least one amide moiety.

COMPOSITION COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE AMPS® COPOLYMER, AT LEAST ONE ACYL GLUTAMIC ACID OR A SALT THEREOF AND AT LEAST ONE ALKYL POLYGLUCOSIDE

The present invention relates to a composition comprising at least one copolymer comprising at least one 2-acrylami-do-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS®) monomer and at least one monomer bearing a hydrophobic group, at least one acyl glutamic acid or a salt thereof and at least one emulsifying system comprising at least one alkyl polyglucoside.

IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO ORGANIC COMPOUNDS

Described are encapsulated compositions comprising at least one core-shell microcapsule. The at least one core-shell microcapsule comprises a core comprising at least one benefit agent and a shell surrounding the core. The shell comprises a polyurea resin formed by reaction of at least one trifunctional isocyanate with at least one polyfunctional amine not being chitosan. The at least one trifunctional isocyanate is an adduct of an aliphatic triol with at least one araliphatic diisocyanate. The weight ratio between moieties of the polyurea resin, which are derived from the trifunctional isocyanate, and the core is between 0.09 and 0.30, preferably between 0.10 and 0.20, more preferably between 0.11 and 0.18. The shell additionally comprises chitosan. The present disclosure also relates to a method for preparing such encapsulated compositions and to their use to enhance the performance of a benefit agent in a consumer product.

New extracts of microalgae, halophytes and psammophilous plants are suggested, obtainable by treating said microalgae and plants with a solvent selected from the group consisting of C.sub.1-C.sub.4 aliphatic alcohols, ethyl acetate, water or their mixtures, removing the dissolved extracts from the residues and recovering the pure extracts from the solvent. The extracts show excellent activity as regulators of the metabolism of human sebaceous glands.
