The disclosure deals with a lubricative skin engaging member with progressive release of lubricating polymer from a water-insoluble matrix containing thermoplastic elastomer compound and maleic anhydride copolymer and lubricating polymer in concentration less than 30%. The disclosure lies in the use of the maleic anhydride in grafted form on polyethylene and the incorporation of water-soluble lubricating polymer in concentration less than 30% in the thermoplastic elastomer compound, leading to a lubricative mixture, and to a skin engaging member, with increased homogeneity and water absorption ability that assist in the lubricating polymer release in a progressive and controllable manner.

Lecithin based microemulsion and their uses as nanoreactors and carrying materials are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of forming a nanomaterial comprises mixing a lecithin based microemulsion with a first reactant and a second reactant. In a further embodiment, a method for encapsulating a nanomaterial in a lecithin based microemulsion forming a composition and wherein the composition forms a dispersion in an aqueous solution, polar solution, or a non-polar solution.

A dispersion including a plurality of bodies dispersed in a continuous phase. Each dispersed body including an internal drop formed with an internal phase miscible with the continuous phase, the internal drop (16) receiving an active product. Each dispersed body including, around the internal drop, a membrane formed with an intermediate phase immiscible with the continuous phase and totally surrounding the internal drop. The ratio R1 of the average thickness (e) of the membrane over the average transverse dimension (D.sub.c) of the active volume delimited by the internal drop and the membrane is greater than 0.05, and is advantageously less than 0.5. The ratio R2 of the partition coefficient of the active product between the intermediate phase forming the membrane and the internal phase forming the internal drop over the viscosity of the membrane is less than 1 s.sup.1.Math.Pa.sup.1.

The present invention relates to a composition for topical application on skin for photoepilation comprising nanocomplexes which comprise a nanoparticle supporting an LSP resonance which is coated with at least a chemical compound, wherein said chemical compound is selected from the group consisting of polyionic polymers, heterobifunctional compound of the surface assembled monolayer type, antibodies and their mixtures. The present invention also relates to a photoepilation method which comprises the steps of (i) applying to the skin surface the composition for topical application of the present invention, and (ii) applying a radiation to said surface of the skin.
