PORTABLE SMOKE AND FIRE PROTECTION DEVICE AND METHODS RELATING TO SAME
Disclosed is a device for protecting a user from smoke or fire, including a sealed dome-like cover. An opening provided in the cover front portion enables emergency oxygen to force smoke present under the cover to be expelled by positive air pressure through a space below the waist. The dome-like cover is overlaid from above the top of the head to at least the waist of the user and connected to a source of oxygen. The device is reversible so that it can also be used as a stretcher. The materials used enable use as a thermal blanket. The device can be provided compactly folded in a bag that can provide lumbar support thereby ensuring that miners will always carry the device with them. A step of vacuum sealing for a predetermined amount of time ensures malleability of the compact device for enhanced lumbar support and device longevity.
Helmetless support and ventilation system for a surgical hood and gown and methods of making and using same
A helmetless support and ventilation system for use with surgical hoods and gowns, including a flexible band, a plurality of front offsets connected to the flexible band, an offset extension such that the plurality of front offsets is connected to the offset extension and the offset extension is located away from the flexible band, a plurality of faceplate attachment extensions, wherein each of the plurality of faceplate attachment extensions is connected to the offset extension, a plurality of support faceplate attachments, such that each of the plurality of support faceplate attachments are connected to each of the plurality of faceplate attachment extensions, and a ventilation system located within a surgical gown and a surgical hood for providing filtered, ventilation air within the surgical gown and the surgical hood, wherein the ventilation system is retained by shoulders of a wearer of the ventilation.

Positive pressure ventilation system for firefighting apparatus
A firefighting apparatus has a positive pressure ventilation system for impairing dust, dirt, and other debris from entering a storage compartment of the apparatus. The system can blow dust, dirt and debris out from the storage compartment if the same enters the compartment. The positive pressure ventilation system includes a blower assembly that supplies a positive flow of air to the storage compartment, such that the pressure within the storage compartments is greater than the environment, and air will egress from the storage compartment into the surrounding environment, rather than entering the storage compartment from the surrounding environment.
FIRE PROTECTION ENCLOSURE
This disclosure herein may relate to various embodiments of a personal fire protection enclosure. The personal fire protection enclosure may comprise a fire suppression blanket made of fire-resistant material. The fire suppression blanket may have a lattice that may define a multiplicity of openings. An upper portion may further have one long side, two short sides, an angled side, and similarly be made of fire-resistant material. Further disclosed may be a lower portion having two long sides and two short sides and made likewise be made of fire-resistant material. The lower portion may further have a fold flap. A coupling strip may optionally be used and may be adapted to connect the fire suppression blanket to the ground portion if so used.
FIRE PROTECTION ENCLOSURE
This disclosure herein may relate to various embodiments of a fire protection enclosure which may utilize a fire suppression blanket made of fire-resistant material. The fire suppression blanket may have a lattice. The fire protection enclosure may further have a frame which may have a first hinge, a second hinge, a first ground frame arm, a first support arm, a second support arm, a second ground frame arm, a first leg, and a second leg and may optionally include an intermediate support arm. There may be any number of intermediate support arm present, dependent on the specific environment of use. Additionally disclosed may be a draw member connected to the first ground frame arm. Additionally disclosed may be a plurality of fire panels made of fire-resistant material and connected together to form a fire cover therein, the fire cover may be reversibly attached to the frame.
METHODS, SYSTEMS AND APPARATUSES FOR SUPPLYING BREATHABALE GASES
A strong unsolved need exists to provide people with breathable gases for inhaling instead of ambient air, when people live in areas, where the ambient air is polluted with toxic gases and particulate matters. The present invention solves this need by disclosing a breathing apparatus, a dispenser of breathable gases, and a distributor of breathable gases, for supplying breathable gases to people, exposed to polluted and contaminated outdoor and indoor ambient air.

Exercise apparatus simulating mild to high altitude environments
A personal physical conditioning system, for a single, full-size human subject, has a sealable chamber that is configured to allow entry therein and occupancy thereof by the entirety of the single, full-size human subject and to allow the subject to exercise in a standing position using an item of physical conditioning equipment entirely contained within the sealable chamber. The system also has a ventilation system, including a pump, operable to change air in the sealable chamber and to establish, within the sealable chamber, a desired non-zero air pressure level of less than 1 atmosphere and down to pressure conditions substantially equivalent to an elevation of 25,000 feet above sea level. Related methods are also provided.
