Aerial fire-fighting bucket
The present invention relates to an aerial fire-fighting bucket. The bucket includes a base plate and a valve arrangement including at least one valve and a liner actuator. The base plate includes at least one aperture and the valve is arranged to block the aperture in a closed position and to allow fluid to pass from within the bucket through the aperture when in an open position. The valve is arranged to be moved by the linear actuator generally transversely across an upper face of the base plate between the closed position and the open position of the valve to progressively reveal the aperture.
Sprinkler Protection
The present invention relates to a protection device for protecting a baffle and/or a sprinkler head of a fire sprinkler system, wherein the protection device comprises a mounting portion for mounting to the sprinkler system and a protection portion adapted to at least partially surround the baffle and/or the sprinkler head, so that a damage to the baffle or the sprinkler head by placing stored goods into store or removing them from store can be prevented.
EMERGENCY STATION AND METHOD OF USE
A method of using an emergency station comprising one or more emergency addressing operative elements; at least one hardware processor; and one or more software modules, wherein the at least one hardware processor, executing the one or more software modules, is configured to receive incoming signals representative of an emergency; determine if the received incoming signals meet predetermined criteria indicative of an emergency; causing actuation of the one or more emergency addressing operative elements upon determination that the received incoming signals meet the predetermined criteria, the method comprising receiving incoming signals representative of an emergency; determining if the received incoming signals meet predetermined criteria indicative of an emergency; causing actuation of the one or more emergency addressing operative elements upon determination that the received incoming signals meet the predetermined criteria.
Spray jet discharging device
A spray jet discharging device of long range, whose function is based on the production of a powerful air stream with liquid droplets dispersed therein, the maximum velocity of the spray jet being at least 300 km/h. The air stream is produced by a centrifugal fan with a spiral housing (1). The device is mainly used for fire extinguishing. It may be mounted at fixed points or on land vehicles via a suitable support for the fan, which enables both rotation of the spray jet beam in the horizontal plane, and changing of its inclination angle in the vertical plane. It may be remotely controlled (10) or manually operated (60). There is also a version of the device for aerial fire-fighting operations (90), configured to be suspended from an aircraft, e.g. a helicopter, and a device for portable use (1 10), which can be carried by a fireman.

PUMP SHELTER
A pump shelter including a housing, the housing having insulating structures for insulating an interior of the housing from external elements. A pump system is positioned within the housing and operable for pumping a fluid. A heating system is also positioned within the housing for heating the interior of the housing. A lighting system provides lighting for the interior of the housing. A power supply system provides power to at least one of the pump system, the heating system and the lighting system. Hose elements are removably connectable to the pump system. The pump shelter is readily and quickly available for rapid deployment in a fire or flooding scenario under various climate conditions.

FLUID PUMPING SYSTEM WITH A CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
A technique for providing a water pumping system suitable for fighting wildfire, flood mediation, sewage transport, and the like is revealed. The system includes an internal combustion engine, a CVT with an input shaft and an output shaft, and a pump with an axial flow impeller. In one variation, multiple impeller stages are used and/or several systems are daisy-chained to provide for suitable delivery of water from its source. In another form, the system is carried by an all-terrain vehicle, side-by-side, or the like, to reach remote areas that need to move water to address a hazardous condition.
