Artificial surfing system
In an artificial surfing system for generating a standing wave, comprising a water circuit, in which a first wave generating device is arranged, which comprises a wave pool and a ramp arranged upstream of the wave pool, over which the water flows down into the wave pool, wherein the water circuit downstream of the wave pool of the first wave generating device comprises a water backflow, via which the water is made available to a pump with which the water can be conveyed from the backflow upwards to the first wave generating device, at least one further wave generating device is arranged in the backflow, to which the water coming from the first wave generating device flows.
Athlete style recognition system and method
A system and method leverages understanding of complex dribbling video clips by representing a video sequence with a single Dribble Energy Image (DEI) that is informative for dribbling styles recognition. To overcome the shortage of labelled data, a dataset of soccer video clips employs Mask-RCNN to segment out dribbling players and OpenPose to obtain joints information of dribbling players. To solve issues caused by camera motions in highlight soccer videos, the system registers a video sequence to generate a single image representation DEI and dribbling styles classification.
Batting tee
A batting tee and/or hitting training device is provided that includes a platform, a support extending upwardly from the platform and a holder disposed on the support opposite the platform for holding the ball to be hit. Batting tee
A batting tee that can be used by righthanded and lefthanded hitters to expand their batting zone. The batting tee comprises of two weighted legs that extend from a point of origin, an angle of twenty-five degree is created between the two weighted legs. Each weighted leg is hollow and defines an upper and a lower linear channel that can receive a block that sustains a screw in post. The post has a ball holder. A triangular weighted sheet attaches to an inside side of each weighted leg. Each leg defines a block insertion point at a location that is at a furthest distance from the point of origin, the block insertion points are defined on the upper part and the power part of each leg.
PITCHING TRAINING TOOL
A pitching training tool includes: a hollow ball; a shaft; and a wing. The shaft has one end attached to the ball, and another end attached to the wing. The ball and the wing are spaced apart from each other by a length equal to or greater than a sum of a diameter of the ball and a length of the wing with the shaft interposed between the ball and the wing.
HOCKEY PUCK HAVING A TRACKING DEVICE
The present technology generally relates to a puck comprising a body and a tracking device receivable in the body. The tracking device is generally aligned with a center of gravity of the body of the puck and with a geometrical center of the body of the puck.
Swing Trainer Balance Block Apparatus
A swing trainer balance block apparatus for improving balance during swing training includes a foot board having a board top side, a board bottom side, a board front side, a board back side, a board left side, and a board right side. The board top side receives a portion of a user's foot. A base support is coupled to the foot board. The base support is coupled to the board bottom side and is elastically deformable to create instability in the foot board. One swing trainer balance block apparatus is used beneath each of the user's feet to stimulate stabilizer muscles while practicing swinging a baseball bat or a golf club.
Monitoring and tracking athletic activity
Tracking and monitoring athletic activity offers individuals with additional motivation to continue such behavior. An individual may track his or her athletic activity by completing goals. These goals may be represented by real-world objects such as food items, landmarks, buildings, statues, other physical structures, toys and the like. Each object may correspond to an athletic activity goal and require an amount of athletic activity to complete the goal. For example, a donut goal object may correspond to an athletic activity goal of burning 350 calories. The user may progress from goal object to goal object. Goal objects may increase in difficulty (e.g., amount of athletic activity required) and might only be available for selection upon completing an immediately previous goal object, a number of goal objects, an amount of athletic activity and the like.
