Deciding weight and repetitions in a gym machine with no mechanical impact
A weight pin for use with a stacked weight exercise machine includes a handle portion, and a shaft portion extending outwardly from the handle portion. The shaft portion is configured to be removably positioned adjacent to one or more weights of the exercise machine to selectively engage the one or more weights during use of the exercise machine. The weight pin also includes interrogation circuitry arranged relative to the handle portion, the interrogation circuitry configured to read information from the adjacent one or more weights.
Personal fitness device using VR
Provided is a personal fitness machine device using VR including: a driving unit collecting front location information of a user and front posture information of the user; a VR unit which collects rear location information, rear posture information, and distance information of the user; an exercise unit including a bottom frame, a footrest unit, a separation prevention unit, a back support frame, and a waist protector; and a control unit which controls the driving unit, the VR unit, and the exercise unit, compares the front posture information of the user and pre-stored posture information, and generates posture correction information.
Impact-attenuation sub-layer for a shoulder-pad system
Aspects herein relate to a shoulder-pad system that may be used to attenuate impact in various contexts. The shoulder-pad system may have a number of subcomponents, which may include an impact-plate assembly, an impact-attenuation sub-layer, a base-layer garment, and a securing garment, among others. The shoulder-pad system may be described as modular, in that the various subcomponents may be added to, and/or removed from the system when it is desirable to do so.
Strength exercise mechanisms
A treadmill includes a frame, an exercise deck attached to the frame, and a first handle movably attached to the frame. The first handle has a first orientation where the first handle is positioned within a region above the exercise deck and stabilized to support a user's weight during a body weight exercise, and a second orientation where the first handle is positioned away from the region above the exercise deck.
Strength exercise mechanisms
A treadmill including a frame, an exercise deck attached to the frame, and a first push-up handle attached to the frame and elevated over the exercise deck.
Electronic Exercise Mat
An innovative electronic exercise or yoga mat, integrating a T-shaped mat with a cross-shaped mat, allows an instructor and users to see each other in all exercise/yoga postures during an exercise and/or yoga class session. The mat also prevents a user and/or the instructor from having to face sideways, from touching the floor during certain postures, and from having to turn and twist or otherwise moving about the room in order to see one another. The mat provides a structure for incorporating various body inserts and electronic sensors that wirelessly communicate with the user's personal computing (PC) device. Thus, the mat allows the user to customize the desired mat thickness and detects mat pressure and vitals along the entire surface of the mat during an exercise/class session, providing the user with useful and vital information. Further, the mat offers a mechanism rolling up the mat for travel/storage.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR AN INTELLIGENT GOAL
A non-transitory storage medium having stored thereon logic is disclosed. The logic is executable by one or more processors to perform operations including receiving information associated with a selection of a first training drill, responsive to receiving the information associated with the selection of the first training drill and based on the first training drill, causing a first light to be placed in an activated state, wherein the first light is coupled to a first goal apparatus, and responsive to a triggering event, causing the first light to be placed in a deactivated state and causing a second light to be placed in an activated state. The goal apparatus includes posts that form a goal plane, wherein a first sensor pair is coupled to the goal, and wherein the triggering event is a detection of an object passing through the posts and across the goal plane.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR VIRTUAL COMPETITION
A system configured to be coupled with a participant of an activity. The system comprises: a participant activity monitoring unit configured for monitoring a performance of the activity by the participant; an activity information module configured for storing performance information corresponding to the activity; and a participant performance correlator configured for delivering comparative performance data based on the monitored performance of the activity by the participant and the stored performance information.
Apparatus for protecting finger, thumb, and hand
A finger brace device is disclosed herein. The finger brace device can comprise a first hinge component configured to connect a proximal component configured to fit around at least a first portion of a finger near a wrist, to an intermediate component located at a central portion of the apparatus, wherein the proximal component is located at a lateral portion of the apparatus. Also disclosed is a second hinge component configured to connect the intermediate component of the apparatus to a distal component configured to fit around at least a second portion of the finger near a finger nail, wherein the distal component is located at a distal portion of the apparatus.
