Clamp Arrangement, Setting Tool System and Use of a Setting Tool System
A clamp arrangement for tree trunks with a main body on which at least three retaining tongues are formed, arranged at a distance from one another, wherein the main body and the retaining tongues are oriented, as blades, in a common cutting direction, and wherein at least two snap lugs are formed on the main body and/or on at least one retaining tongue to allow a detachable connection with a setting tool.
Silicone rubber universal fit flexible tree trunk guard
A universal fit flexible tree trunk guard fabricated from a medium to high density silicone rubber material for protecting the trunk of a tree or an ornamental shrub from strikes from lawn care equipment or from interactions with wildlife. A plurality of hole members are provided along the upper and lower edges of the trunk guard. This rectangular sheet can then be wrapped around the trunk, the diameter of the thus-formed cylinder adjusted to fit the tree or ornamental shrub to be protected. Mechanical fastening means can then be used, at registering hole members, to secure the trunk guard in a cylindrical form. Additionally, the interior surface, i.e. the surface that is facing the trunk of the tree or ornamental shrub, can be provided with a plurality of spaced bosses that maintain an air space between the surface of the tree trunk and the trunk guard.
Biodegradable shield for plant protection
Shielding for the protection of plants and seedlings from ground pests is provided. Shields can be comprised of materials including biodegradable materials that have the advantage of being formed into plant protection shields with various features, such as by an injection molding process, but that can be buried within the soil along with a plant's roots. Plant shields are provided for being partially buried in soil to surround a plant and for providing above-ground protection from ground travelling pests. Such shields can comprise a walled structure surrounding and creating an open-ended enclosure with the shield comprising an above the ground portion and a below the ground portion. The shield may comprises a Biodegradable Plastic that includes plant nutrients within the Biodegradable Plastic. The above the ground portion and the below the ground portion can be divided from one another by a divider that extends along an external surface of the walled structure in a similar direction as the walled structure surrounds the enclosure, the divider element comprising a ground engagement surface for limiting insertion of the shield into the soil.
CONTINUOUS, INTEGRAL AND AUTOMATIC PROCEDURE OR METHOD FOR PRODUCING AND MANUFACTURING A LAYER, COVER, MAT AND/OR FILM AS A SINGLE PART MADE OF POLYETHYLENE AND/OR PLASTIC THAT IS JOINED, ATTACHED AND/OR INTEGRATED WITH AN ELEMENT FOR DELIVERING, DISTRIBUTING AND/OR REMOVING FLUID, WITH BASIC STEPS FOR CONTINUOUS AND AUTOMATIC FEEDING
The present invention relates to an automatic integrated continuous procedure for the one-piece production and manufacturing of at least one layer, cover, mat and/or film of polyethylene and/or plastic material attached, fastened and/or integrated with at least one element for the delivery, distribution and/or removal of fluid, comprising the steps of feeding a film, layer, cover and/or mat of polyethylene and/or plastic unfolded toward a thermofusion unit comprising drag idlers whereby the film, layer, mat and/or cover passes, where high-temperature silicone wheels are arranged above said drag idlers, so that when they touch said idlers together they become the dragging means of the film, layer, cover and/or mat which are arranged between said idlers and silicone wheels, feeding a film sleeve to be arranged and/or placed over the irrigation line already deployed over the film, layer, cover and/or mat arranged between said idlers and silicone wheels, and thermofusing the peripheral edges of said film sleeve that are arranged or placed over the film, layer, cover and/or mat, producing the coupling of the film sleeve with the film, layer, cover and/or mat fusing them together in conjunction with the pressure produced by the silicone wheels welding the two plastics, ensuring that the element for the delivery, distribution and/or removal of fluid is not thermofused with the fused plastics, remaining attached, fastened and/or arranged between the film sleeve and the film, layer, cover and/or mat.
Disposable diaper recycling and applications thereof
One embodiment provides a modular green roof tray, house plant growth media and horticulture growth media, and a tree protection mat for weed and moisture control made from recycled disposable diapers. The growth medium and tree protection mat contain superabsorbent materials from diaper that can absorb waters and greatly reduce irrigation so to provide a drought resistant feature. One embodiment also provides a manufacturing process to perform 100% recycling of disposed diapers.
Bottomless In-Ground Garden-Plant Watering-Well with Border Paver
Bottomless in-ground plant containers with watering-wells that are open at both ends that are both functional and decorative. The above-ground portions, the watering-well bowls, of these present embodiments have faux decorative pavers that add support in keeping the watering-wells above ground-level. The bottom, below-ground portions, the well barrels, have two attached horizontal flanges permanently attached to their bases to help prevent upward and downward movement, as-well-as adding extra stability in keeping the watering-well bowls above ground-level. These non-organic watering-well bowls replace the organic soil watering-wells; and these in-ground plant-containers with watering-wells are for conserving water and the localized containment of water contaminated by pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
USE OF BENTONITE FOR IMPROVING PLANT GROWTH-RELATED TRAITS
The present invention relates to a slurry comprising water, bentonite, and a compound selected from fertilizer, a plant growth regulator, a fungicide and an insecticide. The present invention also relates to an agricultural product comprising a slurry comprising water and bentonite, and a plant propagative material. Methods of using the bentonite to enhance a growth-related trait, such as drought tolerance, in a plant are also described.

HETEROCYCLE-SUBSTITUTED AROMATIC COMPOUND, METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME, HERBICIDAL COMPOSITION, AND USE THEREOF
The present invention belongs to the technical field of pesticides, and particularly, relates to a heterocycle-substituted aromatic compound, a method for preparing same, a herbicidal composition, and use thereof. The compound is represented by general formula I, wherein Y represents a halogen, a halogenated alkyl, cyano, nitro, or amino; Z represents hydrogen, a halogen, or hydroxyl; M.sub.1 and M.sub.2 each independently represent CR.sub.5 or N(O).sub.m; Q represents CX3X4; R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, and R5 each independently represent hydrogen, a halogen, or the like; X.sub.1, X.sub.2, X.sub.3, and X.sub.4 each independently represent hydrogen, a halogen, or the like, and m represents 0 or 1. The compound, even at a low application rate, has excellent herbicidal activity on gramineous weeds, broad-leaf weeds, and the like, and has high selectivity for crops.

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR ATTACHING OBJECTS TO TREES
Devices and methods for attaching objects to living trees. Various forms of the devices employ a flexible member and mounting member that are configured to be looped and secured around a tree portion at a beginning of a predetermined time period. The mounting member and flexible member are configured to slide relative to each other to accommodate growth of the tree portion such that the device remains secured to the tree portion for at least the duration of the predetermined period of time without the need for human intervention. In other embodiments, the mounting member is integrally formed with the object or no mounting member is employed.
