Book and toy combination

The present invention relates to a book comprising a first outer cover having a substantially planar body defining a first aperture extending therethrough; a second outer cover having a substantially planar body defining a second aperture extending therethrough; and at least one inner element located between the first and second outer covers, the or each inner element having a substantially planar body defining an inner element aperture extending therethrough; wherein at least a portion of the first and second apertures and the or each inner element aperture are aligned with one another to define a receiving aperture extending through the book.

TWO PART TOY FIGURINE AND A TOY SYSTEM

A toy figurine having a first part resembling an upper body of a character and a second part resembling a lower body of the character. The first part includes a connection element configured to mate with the mating element of the second part, forming a complete character.

The first part includes two or more switches formed at an outer surface at a lower portion of the first part, and the second part includes a shell having an inner space for receiving at least a lower portion of the first part, and a number of contact pegs smaller than or identical to the number of switches in the first part. The contact pegs are capable of activating a switch, when the first part and the second part are connected, and also not activating the switch, when the first part and the second part are connected.

The hardware processor is configured to execute the object animation software code to, using the camera, generate an image in response to receiving an activation input, using the display, display the image, and receive a selection input selecting an object shown in the image. The hardware processor is further configured to execute the object animation software code to determine a distance separating the selected object from the portable device, receive an animation input, identify, based on the selected object and the received animation input, a movement for animating the selected object, generate an animation of the selected object using the determined distance and the identified movement, and render the animation of the selected object.

A plush toy is provided. The plush toy includes a head attached to a body having two leg-like appendages. The toy has an opening leading to a first pocket located inside the body. The first pocket is interconnected to a second pocket located inside the head. The opening to the second pocket at the intersection of the head and body can be closed with a hook-and-look type fastener. The second pocket is sized and configured to contain a sensory stimulus module capable of playing music, vibrating, and emitting white noise at different volumes to sooth a child. When inserted inside the second pocket, buttons on the module are aligned with indicia on the posterior side of the head which permit a user to press through the fabric to activate and control the module. A teether in the shape of hugging arms is attached to the toy and provides teething relief and enjoyment for the child.

Articulating object

An articulating object is provided, and may include a first body portion, a second body portion, a first cable segment and a cable drive system. The second body portion has a neutral axis and is articulatable. The first cable segment extends along the second body portion on a first side of the neutral axis. The first cable segment is of a push-pull cable type. The cable drive system is drivable to move the first cable segment in a first direction to generate a first moment on the second body portion in a first moment direction, thereby driving articulation of the second body portion in a first articulation direction, and is drivable to move the first cable segment in a second direction to generate a first moment on the second body portion in a second moment direction, thereby driving articulation of the second body portion in a second articulation direction.

Articulating object

An articulating object is provided, and may include a first body portion, a second body portion, a first cable segment and a cable drive system. The second body portion has a neutral axis and is articulatable. The first cable segment extends along the second body portion on a first side of the neutral axis. The first cable segment is of a push-pull cable type. The cable drive system is drivable to move the first cable segment in a first direction to generate a first moment on the second body portion in a first moment direction, thereby driving articulation of the second body portion in a first articulation direction, and is drivable to move the first cable segment in a second direction to generate a first moment on the second body portion in a second moment direction, thereby driving articulation of the second body portion in a second articulation direction.

If a plurality of pieces of command information necessary for operation of the mobile robot are stored in the command information memory, a control unit of the mobile robot automatically extracts and takes out the command information and causes the mobile robot to operate.
