A play mat system to which various objects may be removably mounted over a display. The play mat system generally includes a housing having a transparent upper surface or upper cover. A display is either integrated with the housing or provided by an electronic device such as a tablet computer which may be removably connected to the lower surface of the housing via one or more receiver brackets. The housing may include a plurality of projections extending from its upper surface or upper cover to which various objects such as toys or building blocks may be removably mounted. Multiple housings may be interconnected via links such that they function as a singular display unit.

BLOWOUT

A blowout includes: a stretchable body having a tube shape and changeable in shape; a wire body having elasticity and arranged along the longitudinal directions of the stretchable body; a pipe body having a cylinder shape, one end part of the pipe body being connected to one end part of the stretchable body; and a mouthpiece body having a cylinder shape and connected to the other end part of the pipe body, the mouthpiece body being held by a user in the mouth such that air is blown by the user, in which the stretchable body is stretched by blowing air from the mouthpiece body while the stretchable body is curled into a spiral by the elastic force of the wire body when air is not blown from the mouthpiece body. In the blowout, the one end part of the stretchable body and the one end part of the pipe body are connected by a tightening band so that the stretchable body can be attached to and detached from the pipe body.

A whistle system that enables an official or other user to not only have the whistle in a secure position for quick and easy use while also enabling the user to be able to use both hands as well. In particular, the whistle system includes a fingergrip that allows the user to quickly move the the whistle in position for use in a natural motion, while allowing the fingergrip to then quickly separate from the whistle to allow both hands of the user to be utilized. Alternatively, the whistle allows individuals with restricted movement in one arm to still officiate. A user having restricted movement in one arm can simply wear the whistle on one hand, move it into position in the mouth to be blown, and then quickly separated from the whistle to allow the signal to be indicated with one hand. The whistle system includes a whistle with a fingergrip. The fingergrip is securely attached to the whistle by a securement system that also allows the fingergrip to be separated from the whistle with an application of force.

Multifunction button

Aspects of the present invention enable a storage device (e.g., a recordable book, toy, computing device) to be controlled with a single control button that performs multiple functions. Different interactions with the button produce a different control input. In one aspect, the storage device is an audio recording device that can record, lock, unlock, transfer to a separate storage device, or play back one or more audio recordings. These five functions (i.e., recording, locking, unlocking, transferring, and playing back) are initiated or facilitated by depressing a single button located on the audio storage device for different lengths of time or in different patterns. Audio recordings may be played in response to user interactions with the button to help the user interact with the button properly and warn the user of action that is about to be taken.
