Model Rockets with Divisible Nose Cones
Systems, devices and methods for model rocketry are provided. According to some aspects, new forms of model rocket nose cones, other model rocket components, and methods for their use, are provided. A new form of reversibly-divisible nose cone is provided, including a plurality of housing sections forming an interior payload section and, in some embodiments, including a locking mechanism(s) configured to hold the plurality of housing sections together during the initial phases of flight. In some embodiments, such a locking mechanism is unlocked, and the housing sections are separated, at least in part, in an ejection phase of model rocket flight. In some embodiments, such a locking mechanism is unlocked, at least in part, by increased air resistance and tension from shock cord(s) of a model rocket. Shock cord mounting arms are provided, including eyelet(s), mounted at an angle to a trailing surface of the nose cone.
Wireless Controlled Airplane and Arithmetic Processing Device
An objective of the present invention is to eliminate unnatural behaviors of a wireless controlled airplane during PID control. In a wireless controlled airplane, a receiving section receives a first operation signal for a first actuator, a second operation signal for a second actuator, and a third operation signal for a third actuator, wherein the first, second and third operation signals are provided as operation signals wirelessly transmitted. A first actuator control section is configured to generate an actuation signal for the first actuator by means of PID control depending on the first operation signal, and to reduce an integral element in the PID control depending on an operation value for the second or third operation signal. Alternatively, the first actuator control section is configured to perform switching to a control without an integral element from the PID control.
Frisbee
A frisbee comprises a rotating shaft and a surface cover, a first fan blade, a second fan blade, a fan blade gear, a third fan blade and a bottom case, and the first fan blade comprises a first casing, the second fan blade comprises a second casing, and the rotating shaft passes through the first casing, the second casing, the fan blade gear and the third fan blade; a cavity is arranged with an electric motor and a main board, the output end of the electric motor is arranged with a motor gear meshing, the main board is arranged on the first casing, and a switch button is arranged on the first casing, and the switch button is connected with the main board, and the cover is arranged with a first through hole corresponding to the switch button. The structure of the frisbee can be simplified.
WINDING DEVICE FOR A STUNT KITE, PARAGLIDER OR PARACHUTE
The invention relates to a winding device (30) for winding up and unwinding lines (50) of a stunt kite, paraglider or parachute (60) with at least three reels (11) for receiving at least one line (50) of the stunt kite, paraglider or parachute (60). According to the invention, at least two reels (11) have their own reel drive (14) for winding up and unwinding the line (50) taken up on the reel (11).
ROBOTIC BIRD
The invention is a robotic bird that uses flapping flight for lift and propulsion. The bird has a body, two wings, tail and head with a beak in addition to on-board electronics and batteries. Each wing is controlled separately by four motors. One motor controls the flapping, one the angle of attack (wing tilt), one the degree of morphing and folding of the wing and one the horizontal motion of the wing. The tail is controlled by three servomotors, one for up and down motion, one for tilting and one for spreading the tail feathers. Thus, the bird has 11 degrees of freedom in total in its wings and tail. This design allows the use of evolutionary methods for teaching the bird to fly in a much more efficient way than has previously been possible.
Mobile computing device for use in controlling wirelessly controlled vehicles
Methods and systems for utilizing a mobile computing device (e.g., such as a mobile phone) for use in controlling a model vehicle are described. Consistent with some embodiments, a mobile computing device provides various user controls for generating signals that are communicated to a radio transmitter device coupled with the mobile computing device, and ultimately broadcast to a receiver residing at a model vehicle. With some embodiments, the mobile computing device may be integrated with a controller housing which provides separate user controls, such that a combination of user controls present on the mobile computing device and the controller housing can be used to control a model vehicle.
Reconfigurable battery-operated vehicle system
A quadrotor UAV including ruggedized, integral-battery, load-bearing body, two arms on the load-bearing body, each arm having two rotors, a control module mounted on the load-bearing body, a payload module mounted on the control module, and skids configured as landing gear. The two arms are replaceable with arms having wheels for ground vehicle use, with arms having floats and props for water-surface use, and with arms having pitch-controlled props for underwater use. The control module is configured to operate as an unmanned aerial vehicle, an unmanned ground vehicle, an unmanned (water) surface vehicle, and an unmanned underwater vehicle, depending on the type of arms that are attached.
Audio playing frisbee
An audio playing frisbee for entertainment and recreation includes a disc and an audio player. The disc is resilient and configured to be grasped in a hand of a user, positioning the user to throw the disc. A void is centrally positioned in the disc. The void is circularly shaped and defines an inner perimeter of the disc. The audio player is shaped complementary to and is positioned in the void. The audio player is coupled to the disc. The audio player comprises a plurality of speakers so that the audio player is configured to broadcast an audio file.
