MODULAR ROBOT SYSTEM HAVING IMPROVED ASSEMBLY CONVENIENCE
20220047961 · 2022-02-17 ·

A modular robot system includes N (N is an integer that is 2 or greater) cube-type unit robots, each of the N cube-type unit robots comprising: a housing in the shape of a regular hexahedron; a step motor installed in the housing; and a controller installed in the housing and for controlling the step motor. The housing has, on one surface thereof, a mounting groove in which a rotary body rotating by means of a rotating shaft of the step motor can be mounted, and, on the other surface of the housing, a connection groove in the same shape, so that by means of a connector to be mounted in the connection groove, connection to another cube-type unit robot is possible, and the housing has identification marks with different shapes from one another on the respective surfaces thereof.

Systems and Methods for Interactive Communication Between an Object and a Smart Device
20220047956 · 2022-02-17 · ·

Methods for interactive communication between an object and a smart device are provided. Signals can be transmitted from the smart device to the object to control movement of a movable part at the object. Signals can also be transmitted from the smart device to the object to broadcast words and/or songs at a speaker at the object. In addition, in response to a user's touching the object, the object's speaker can broadcast words and/or songs. The signals transmitted from the smart device to the object transceiver can be audio signals so as to create a two-way interactive and live communication. In addition, voice instructions can be spoken into the microphone of the object, and then transmitted from the object to the smart device to initiate an activity at the smart device.

Method and system for providing interactive service using smart toy

The present disclosure according to at least one embodiment relates to, in the learning process of a child using smart toys, a method and system for providing an interactive service by using a smart toy, which provide more accurate classified emotional state of the child based on at least one or more sensed data items of an optical image, a thermal image, and voice data of the child, as well as adaptively provide a flexible and versatile interactive service according to classified emotions.

System and method for recognizing objects placed together using sensors

The present invention discloses a system and method for recognizing objects placed together using capacitance sensors in conjunction with the RFID technology. A structure that is made with a material of high dielectric constant and a RFID tag that comprises a unique identification code (UID) of an object is embedded with the object. With the objects recognized, the spatial structure or the spatial distribution formed by them is derived and corresponding sensory feedbacks are provided by the system.

Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and program for improving user-friendliness of an animated tutorial depicting assembling parts for creating a robot

There is provided an apparatus which can improve user-friendliness of a description screen for assembly of parts in creation of a robot. The apparatus performs display control to separately display a plurality of parts for creation of a robot, display a line connecting joint surfaces of the respective parts, and display animation in which the respective parts are jointed in accordance with the line connecting the joint surfaces in assembly order.

TOYS WITH CAPACITIVE TOUCH FEATURES

A children's toy with capacitive touch interactivity. The children's toy generally includes a user input overlay panel and one or more capacitive touch sensors. The overlay panel may be formed from a capacitive touch conductive natural organic material such as wood. The toy can be shaped and ornamented to resemble a musical instrument and configured to play music in response to user input applied to the user input overlay panel and sensed by the capacitive touch sensors.

STORYTELLING ENVIRONMENT: MAPPING VIRTUAL SETTINGS TO PHYSICAL LOCATIONS

A method, computer-readable medium, and system are disclosed for an interactive storytelling environment. The method comprises identifying a plurality of storytelling devices available to participate in a storytelling experience, at least one of the plurality of the storytelling devices comprising a first beacon device. The method further comprises beginning playback of a first story of the storytelling experience, the first story comprising a first plurality of predetermined actions associated with a predetermined first virtual setting, the first virtual setting mapped to the first beacon device. The method further comprises determining a location of a user using the first beacon device, and during playback of the first story and using at least one of the plurality of storytelling devices, producing one or more of the at least one audiovisual effect corresponding to the first virtual setting based on the determined location of the user.

Play Mat System
