Pressure contained car cannon
09764248 · 2017-09-19 ·

A pressure contained car cannon for the launching and/or flipping of vehicles, or other large-scale props, for use in motion picture action sequences. The device consists of a car canon having a barrel, a cannon foot and a piston. By way of pneumatic pressure, force is achieved by transferring energy from the piston to the cannon foot, resulting in a push force which expels the cannon foot from the cannon barrel, launching the vehicle on its desired trajectory while keeping most all vapor and smoke contained within the barrel itself.

AERIAL NAVIGATION SYSTEM

An aerial navigation system comprises upright members mounted with anchor points at a substantially same height. Each anchor point is provided with an electric motor. A carrier device is coupled to the electric motors at corresponding ones of the anchor points using a set of first wires. The carrier device is operably moved by the electric motors in a horizontal plane co-planar with the anchor points. Further, a robotic device is suspended from the carrier device using a second wire. The robotic device is moveable within a volume defined between a ground surface, the plurality of upright members and the horizontal plane by at least one other electric motor mounted on the carrier device. Furthermore, a navigation control system synchronises operations of electric motors at the anchor points and the carrier device for moving the robotic device from a current location to a target location within the volume.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INTEGRATING SCENT INTO VIRTUAL REALITY ENVIRONMENT

A system and method for evaluating a fragrance product or object provided, wherein the system includes a virtual reality component configured to present a user with a product or object in a virtual reality environment; an optional biometric sensor component configured to obtain the user's biometric data; a wearable scent delivery component configured to deliver a scent to the user; and a digital controller component that synchronizes deliver of the scent with the user's interaction with the product or object in the virtual reality environment.

ATMOSPHERIC EFFECTS SYSTEMS FOR PRESENTING ATMOSPHERIC EFFECTS RELATING TO AN EVENT

An air amplifier utilizes a high-pressure input stream of air to accelerate a low-velocity input stream of air to provide a high-velocity, high-volume output stream of air. A coupled air amplifier array includes multiple air amplifiers which couple their respective output streams of air to one another to form a single collective output stream of air. Multiple coupled air amplifier arrays can be utilized to form coupled air amplifier array systems to provide multiple collective output streams of air which can be focused toward to an audience within a venue. The coupled air amplifier array system can be implemented within atmospheric effects systems to provide atmospheric effects, such as wind, scent, and/or temperature to provide some examples, relating to an event. These atmospheric effects systems can present these atmospheric effects to the audience to enhance the immersion of the audience as they are viewing the event. These atmospheric effects systems can include multiple portable mobile effects pods that are situated within different locations within the venue to present these atmospheric effects to different locations with the venue.

Virtual Scent

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE SEATING LOCATIONS WITHIN A VENUE
20230271101 · 2023-08-31 · ·

The wheelchair accessible seating locations provide new immersive experiences to people using wheelchairs in viewing an event at a venue while being ADA-compliant. These wheelchair accessible seating locations can be moved along one or more principal axes, such as the x-axis, the y-axis, and/or the z-axis of the Cartesian coordinate system to provide some examples, as the people using wheelchairs is viewing the event. These wheelchair accessible seating locations can oscillate along the one or more principal axes to generate vibrations to create the experience of touch to the people using wheelchairs to provide these new immersive experiences to the people using wheelchairs in viewing the event. These movements of the wheelchair accessible seating locations can coincide with, for example, be synchronized to, the event to provide the people using wheelchairs with a substantially similar immersive experience as other spectators of the event that are seated in the seats within the venue.

RESISTANCE CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AMUSEMENT ATTRACTIONS

A resistance control system for a passenger support of an amusement attraction includes a first foundation, a second foundation, and a support extending between the first foundation and the second foundation. The second foundation is pivotably coupled to the support at a pivot joint. The resistance control system also includes a motor and a linkage system coupled to the motor and to the second foundation such that the motor is configured to output a torque to adjust, via the linkage system, a resistance to movement of the second foundation about the pivot joint and relative to the first foundation.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DIRECTING PERFORMANCE
