TIMER SIGNALING SYSTEM AND METHODS
Competition timing systems are disclosed. In a competition in which a task is to be completed, a triggering event indicating beginning or completion of the task is determined by sensing disconnection of a connection component, or removal of a sensed component from proximity to a sensor. The automated timing that can then be generated allows human error and human judgment to be removed as variables from the race timing.

Modular Drone Container System
A modular drone container system for providing a safe area for multiple drones to fly within a contained area, for both indoor and outdoor use. The system comprises a column assembly, panel assembly, and connector assembly that interact to form the container. The panel assembly further comprises panels with tensioned nets for limiting damage to drones while also allowing for rapid construction and disassembly. The column assembly has collapsible and extended states and is designed to be stable enough to be constructed by even just one person quickly and efficiently.
Distance Detector
A distance detecting device is mounted on a user's vehicle to detect a distance between the user's vehicle and a leading vehicle moving in front of the user's vehicle. The distance detecting device communicates with a processing device, which applies race based distance rules to determine whether the user's vehicle is close to or incurring a penalty based at least on the distance between the user's vehicle and the leading vehicle. An indication can be given to the user regarding an impending penalty and/or when a penalty is incurred. Similarly, the device can be read to apply a penalty. Various modifications can be made to allow for recording, display, and transmission of racing and penalty statistics, enabling and disabling recordation of penalty occurrences, tailoring the penalty determinations to a given race, and mounting the distance detecting device to a vehicle.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING AUTO RACES
A method of conducting a racing competition among a plurality of race cars including conducting qualifying trials among the plurality race cars, arranging the race cars in qualifying order arrangement for the start of the race, altering at least one of time, distance or speed parameters of one or more of the plurality of race cars during the race, and determining the winner and order of race finish at the completion of the race based on the parameters
System and method for tracking a vehicle's course by comparing geolocation data from a known course
A computer-implemented method and system for tracking a vehicle's course using geolocation data is provided. The method comprises obtaining a set of predetermined GPS locations representing a closed course; tracking movements of a user using a GPS controller; authenticating the movements of the user against the set of predetermined GPS locations while the client terminal is within a predetermined distance of at least one of the set of predetermined GPS locations; and presenting consolidated timing information about the user's movements along the set of predetermined GPS locations. The system comprises a central processing server in communication with a computer network and configured to obtain information from a central database; and one or more client terminals in communication with the central processing server via the computer network, and configured to provide a graphical user interface for user interaction with the central processing server.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ADAPTIVE VEHICLE ROUTE-RELATED DATA GATHERING
A system includes a processor configured to receive a track-creation request. The processor is also configured to initiate track recording, responsive to the request and record GPS points corresponding to vehicle movement. Further, the processor is configured to receive a track-completion instruction and store the recorded GPS points, and a line connecting the points, as representing a recorded track.
