Method, system, and device for storage and delivery of process gas from a substrate
Provided herein are methods, systems, and devices incorporating use of materials to store, ship, and deliver process gases to micro-electronics fabrication processes and other critical process applications.
Solid amine combined carbon dioxide separation process
A swing bed absorption apparatus including a first absorption bed including a first plurality of solid amine based sorbent beads, a second absorption bed including a second plurality of solid amine based sorbent beads, and a solvent pump configured to alternately pump a liquid solvent through the first absorption bed and the second absorption bed. The liquid solvent is configured to alternately desorb the carbon dioxide from the first plurality of solid amine based sorbent beads and the second plurality of solid amine based sorbent beads.
A SEPARATION ASSEMBLY FOR A TREATMENT OF A MULTIPHASE FLUID FOR ACCURATE FLOW MEASUREMENT OF A GAS AND A LIQUID PHASE IN A MULTIPHASE FLUID MIXTURE AND A SEPARATION METHOD PROVIDED BY SAID ASSEMBLY
A separation assembly for the flow measurement of a gas flow and a liquid flow of a multiphase fluid includes separator with a housing and a separation element inside the housing. The separation element provides the fluid to rotate at high-speed causing strong centrifugal forces on the multiphase fluid. The housing has an inlet for a multiphase mixture and two outlets, one primarily for pre-separated gas and the second primarily for pre-separated liquid. These outlets lead to a regulator. The regulator is part of the separation assembly and includes at least two outlets, one for gas and one for liquid. The regulator ensures the proportional regulation and the final separation of gas and liquid phases over an entire flow rate to provide monophase liquid and gas at the outlets of the regulator.
Air Trapping Device and Nozzle Therefore
The present invention relates to a nozzle for an air trapping device configured to remove air from a fluid, the nozzle comprising a body having an input opening configured to receive the fluid and an output opening configured to distribute the fluid along an edge of the output opening, wherein the edge comprises a control element configured to reduce surface tension of the fluid. The present invention further relates to an air trapping device configured to remove air from a fluid and comprising the nozzle.
WIND POWERED OFFSHORE WATER PRODUCTION FACILITY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A FACILITY
An offshore water production facility to be located on a body of water includes a floating object, at least one wind turbine, a power generator that is coupled to the wind turbine and a water production system. The floating object includes a plurality of buoyancy assemblies that support at least one column on which a wind turbine is mounted. On the at least one column further a process equipment deck is mounted below an operating area of the wind turbine and above a water surface level. The water production system is arranged on the process equipment deck, and the water production system is configured for subsea well water-injection and includes an ultra-filtration unit and a membrane de-aeration unit for water to be injected.
A Deaerator
A deaerator includes a vessel having a chamber defined by an outer wall; and a tray module detachably connected to the vessel, the tray module having a plurality of deaerator trays which are connected to one another in a spaced relationship to form a stack which is suspended within the chamber.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CHEMICAL-FREE DETERMINATION OF THE CHEMICAL OXYGEN DEMAND (CSB) IN AQUEOUS SAMPLES
The present invention relates to a method and a device for the chemical-free determination of the chemical oxygen demand (CODs) in aqueous samples. The object of the invention, to develop a method that compensates for the disadvantages of the standard method and at the same time is at least as good as this, in that it can determine the COD quickly and with a high measurement frequency without chemicals and is cheap and has a low personnel requirement and should be simple to automate, is achieved in that the chemical oxygen demand of aqueous samples is determined by non-specific oxidation of water components at an electrode (11), assisted by (ultra)sound from a sound source (15) in a frequency range in which no significant quantities of oxidative species are formed, i.e. below the cavitation threshold.
DEGASSING UNIT
A degassing module that may be used in conjunction with a sorbent regeneration cartridge is described. The degassing module may include an air inlet port, a fluid outlet port, a gas outlet port, first and second channels located in an interior chamber, a port connecting the first and second channels, and a hydrophobic membrane positioned above the second channel. The first channel may be in fluid communication with the air inlet port and the second channel may be in communication with the fluid outlet port. In some embodiments, each of the first and second channels may have a spiral configuration.
