OIL, DEBRIS SEPARATOR, FILTER AND MUFFLER STRUCTURE
An oil separator comprising includes a vessel body defining a chamber configured to receive a mixture of an oil and a coolant and a vane disposed in the chamber. The vane is configured to separate the oil from the coolant from the mixture of the oil and the coolant. A filter screen having a non-planar surface for filtering the oil is included with the oil separator.
FLUID CLEANING APPARATUS
A fluid cleaning apparatus including: a first volume comprising a first inlet through which a first fluid is introduced and a first outlet through which the first fluid is discharged; a second volume comprising a second inlet through which a second fluid is introduced and a second outlet through which the second fluid is discharged; and a rotating wheel which is provided with a filter for filtering the first fluid, and rotatably positioned within the first volume and the second volume in a direction perpendicular to a flow direction of the first fluid or the second fluid, wherein foreign matter filtered while the first fluid passes through the filter in the first volume is discharged through the second outlet while the second fluid passes through the filter in the second volume, as the rotating wheel rotates.
Manual water pump with power multiplier system
A lightweight portable manual water purification system that can be operated manually that employs a manual water pump system that can produce a pressure of about six atmospheres solely by using the manual rotation power of the user's hands, and a method for purifying water from cyanide poison.
Part separator cleaning apparatus
Embodiments herein relate to part separation and cleaning devices. In an embodiment, a part separation and cleaning apparatus is included having a liquid holding tub defining an interior volume. The liquid holding tub can include a bottom pan defining a center aperture and an outer perimeter, a perimeter wall attached to the bottom pan adjacent to the outer perimeter thereof and a center sleeve attached to the bottom pan over the central aperture and extending upward away from the bottom pan. The apparatus can further include a motor and a drive shaft. An indexing plate within the liquid holding tub can be connected to the drive shaft. The indexing plate can rotate and can include a plurality of discrete compartments. A control circuit can be configured to cause the drive unit to initiate an indexing movement in response to a received signal. Other embodiments are also included herein.
ROTARY DRUM FILTER DECK ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A CLIP
An engagement assembly for a rotary drum filter, the engagement assembly includes a retaining clip having a body, a first shelf extending outwardly from the body in a first direction and a second shelf extending outwardly from the body in a direction opposite the first direction; and an S-clip having a major concave area configured to receive a leading end or a trailing end of a filter plate, and a minor concave area, and configured to receive the first shelf or the second shelf of the retaining clip.
SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES EMPLOYING WET/DRY SUCTION FILTER
Water or wastewater filtration systems and processes have a filter tank having a floor and sidewall defining a filtration zone, an influent conduit, and an effluent conduit. One or more filtration members in the tank having filter media, and one or more cleaning members adjacent at least some portions of the filter media. Generating an effluent stream by generating a pressure differential across submerged portions of the filtration media, causing water in the influent to flow from outside to inside the submerged portions of the filter media. A prime mover rotates the filtration members. A blower and chamber for creating a reduced pressure condition in each of the cleaning members when they are non-submerged, the chamber receiving wet solids removed from non-submerged, wet solids-laden portions of the filter media by the non-submerged cleaning members subsequent to submerged, fouled portions of the filter media being rotated out of the filtration zone.
FILTER MEDIA HAVING AN OPTIMIZED GRADIENT
Filter media having a gradient in a property and methods associated with such media are provided. In some embodiments, a filter media may have a gradient in mean pore size. The gradient in mean pore size may be across at least a portion of the thickness of the filter media. In some embodiments, the gradient can be represented by an exponential function. The exponential gradient in mean pore size may impart desirable properties to the filter media including enhanced filtration properties (e.g., relatively high dust holding capacity and efficiency), amongst other benefits. The filter media may be particularly well-suited for applications that involve filtering liquids (e.g., hydraulics, fuel, lube, water), though the media may also be used in other applications.

Rotary filter arrangement having a plurality of hollow shafts
A filtration arrangement for a filtration device having a container. The filtration arrangement includes at least two or more hollow shafts, rotatably mounted in a machine frame, on which a plurality of membrane filter disks are arranged. At least one drive device is allocated to the plurality of hollow shafts. Permeate can be discharged from the container through the hollow shafts. Each hollow shaft can be inserted into the container on one of the ends thereof having the plurality of membrane filter disks, such that the opposite end thereof protrudes out of the container. Several or many of the membrane filter disks are arranged axially spaced apart on each hollow shaft, and deformable spacer sleeves are arranged between one part or all adjacent membrane filter disks and axially space apart the membrane filter disks on the hollow shafts.
Rotary disc filter having backwash guides
A rotary disc filter includes one or more filter discs secured to a rotary drum and include a series of circumferentially spaced backwash guides disposed in the filter disc. During backwashing, the backwash guides function to engage a mixture of backwash and suspended solids and guide or direct the mixture to a sludge trough disposed in the disc filter. The backwash guides generally assure that a greater percentage of the backwash and suspended solids mixture end up in the solids trough.
