DRY GAS SCRUBBER
An apparatus for a dry gas scrubber includes: a cooling chamber defined by a housing having an inlet for receiving an effluent stream for treatment by the dry gas scrubber, an outlet for providing the effluent stream for treatment by the dry gas scrubber, and at least one cooling plate within the chamber, the cooling plate being thermally coupled with the housing and configured to deviate a direction of flow of the effluent stream when flowing from the inlet to the outlet. In this way, the cooling chamber is interposed between the process tool and the resin chamber of the dry gas scrubber and operates to cool the effluent stream prior to its being delivered to the resin chamber. Cooling the effluent stream in this way helps to improve the performance of the resin, even when the effluent stream is at an elevated temperature.
FILTER LIFE CONDITION ASSESSMENT THROUGH OPTICAL ABSORBANCE
A method and system of determining a filter life are disclosed. In examples, a method comprises capturing aerosol particles on a filter and measuring absorbance spectra of the aerosol particles captured on the filter. The method further comprises identifying one or more aerosol particle types based on the measured absorbance spectra and determining a mass accumulation of each of the one or more aerosol particle types based on the measured absorbance spectra and the aerosol particle type. The method further comprises determining a median particle size of each of the one or more aerosol particle types based on the measured absorbance spectra and the aerosol particle type and determining a filter life based on the determined mass accumulation and the determined median particle size of each of the one or more aerosol particle types.
FILTER ELEMENT, INTERIOR AIR FILTER AND PRODUCTION METHOD
A filter element has a fold pack with a filter material folded in a zigzag shape. The fold pack has lateral fold profiles and an end fold section disposed at a head side of the fold pack. Lateral strips are attached to the lateral fold profiles of the fold pack. A seal section angularly projects at an angle away from the end fold section at the head side of the fold pack. The seal section is provided with at least one incision or cutout configured to receive a corresponding filter housing contour. A filter assembly with such a filter element is provided. The filter housing has a housing part with a filter housing contour provided with at least one engagement element. The at least one incision or cutout of the seal section receives the at least one engagement element of the filter housing contour.
Filter System and Filter Element
A filter system has a filter housing with a fluid inlet for inflow of a fluid into the filter housing. A filter element is removably received in the filter housing. The filter element has a folded filter medium and a stabilization ring attached to the filter medium and stabilizing the filter medium. The stabilization ring is arranged on the filter medium such that the stabilization ring, at least in sections, is arranged within an inflow cross section of the fluid inlet. The fluid directly flows against the filter medium in operation of the filter system.
FILTER ELEMENT
A filter element includes a frame having an outlet panel and two side panels defining a U-shape. A U-shaped media anchor channel extends along the distal side edge of each panel. Each media anchor channel can have a snap-tab or other locking feature. The element encloses a pleated panel filter media pack having a side edge along each side of the pack. Each side edge of the media pack is located in a media anchor channel, and a bead of adhesive is applied along the channel. A pair of seal bars, each having a u-shape and a snap-tab or other feature that cooperates with the u-shape and the snap-tab of each media anchor channel, is pressed into each channel. Each seal bar mechanically retains a respective media side edge in the channel and together with the adhesive, provides a consistent, robust seal between the media and the frame.
CLAMP SYSTEM AND FILTER ARRANGEMENT AND METHODS
A filter system and clamp system for a gas turbine air inlet uses a single clamp system that allows for securing in place both a first element and a second element on the grid of the gas turbine air inlet. The clamp system can be released to allow for services of the first filter element, while the second filter element remains in sealing engagement with the grid.
AN EXHAUST AFTERTREATMENT SYSTEM
An exhaust aftertreatment system for an internal combustion engine includes an outer casing having an exhaust gas inlet and an exhaust gas outlet between which a fluid flow path for exhaust gases is provided, a selective catalytic reduction unit provided in the fluid flow path for reducing nitrogen oxides, a reductant dosing device for adding reductant to the exhaust flow upstream of the selective catalytic reduction unit, and a rotatable mixer device for mixing the reductant with exhaust gases upstream of the selective catalytic reduction unit, an air inlet valve provided upstream of the mixer device for introducing air into the fluid flow path, and an electric motor arranged for rotating the mixer device to create a suction of air into the fluid flow path via the air inlet valve.
Duct opening portion structure
A duct opening portion structure includes an air intake duct; a filter that is disposed in an opening portion at an air introduction side of the air intake duct; and a bezel that is disposed in the opening portion at the air introduction side of the air intake duct, the bezel being configured to support the filter. The bezel is attached to a vehicle body-side member, and the bezel includes a rib including a support portion configured to support the filter. The filter is attached to the support portion. The rib is provided with an extension portion having a length that allows the extension portion to be directly or indirectly pressed against a seal member provided at an edge of the opening portion in a state where the bezel is attached to the vehicle body-side member.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher includes a filter member that is inserted through the lower surface of a tub at a time of replacing the filter member and is applicable regardless of the type of a dishwasher, thereby reducing manufacturing costs and enhancing user convenience. The cylinder-shaped filter member is accommodated entirely in a filter housing, and external air flows into the filter member through the upper end and the lower end of the filter member respectively and then passes through the outer circumferential surface of the filter member, to be filtered, thereby preventing the filter member from being blocked partially and ensuring a sufficient flow rate of air.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher includes a filter member having a handle integrally provided at an upper cover of the filter member. The filter member is accommodated in a filter accommodation space of a filter housing, where a movement space of the filter member is larger than the filter member, thereby preventing damage to the filter material or a fall of contaminants into the filter housing effectively, during withdrawal and insertion of the filter member. A separation space defined between the filter housing and the upper cover of the filter member is closed by a gasket, in the state where the filter member is disposed in the filter housing completely, thereby preventing the flow of non-filtered air into the filter housing effectively.
