A gas exit of the gas-liquid separator (3) is connected to the falling film absorption tower (4). A liquid exit of the gas-liquid separator (3) is connected to the concentration kettle (1). A method for purifying mother liquid steam of polytetrafluoroethylene dispersion liquid by using the system is further provided.

An exhaust treatment system for a work vehicle, which has an exhaust conduit transmitting an exhaust flow from an engine and to a DOC system, is disclosed. The DOC system has a reductant introduced and mixed into the exhaust flow, and a DOC conduit connects the DOC to a center inlet of an SCR. The SCR includes at least two exhaust chambers. When the exhaust flow enters the SCR at the center inlet, the exhaust flow enters a central chamber where it is split into at least two separate exhaust flows which are moved in at least two different directions away from each other. Each separate exhaust flow is moved through a separate exhaust chamber and substrate. A conduit moves at least one of the separate exhaust flows into an area holding another exhaust flow, and the two separate exhaust flows are combined and expelled through an outlet.

Particles are separated from bulk flow by inertia and impacted in a cavity containing a small but stable vortex or eddy. Heat is applied to volatilize constituents of the particles. The gas entrained within the vortex, which exchanges only slowly with the bulk flow, is withdrawn for analysis. In this way, a high volume flow containing particles of interest is reduced to a low volume flow containing a vapor concentrate. Advantageously, the apparatus may be operated at very low pressure drops in fully continuous, semi-continuous or batch mode according to the requirements of the downstream analytical unit. The apparatus finds use in active surveillance, such as in use of aerosols to detect explosives or chemical residues on persons, vehicles or luggage in real time.

Method and equipment for heat recovery

The present invention relates to a method and equipment for recovering heat from exhaust gas removed from an industrial process, such as an electrolysis process for the production of aluminum. Heat is recovered by means of an extraction/suction system, where the exhaust gas contains dust and/or particles. The heat is recovered as the exhaust gas being brought into contact with heat-recovery elements. Flow conditions and the design of the heat recovery elements are such that the deposits of the dust and/or particles on the surfaces stated are kept at a stable, limited level. In preferred embodiments, the heat-recovery elements have a circular or an extended, elliptical cross-section and may be equipped with fins or ribs.
