An image sensor faces the receptacle to capture an image of the pile of processed seeds in the cavity. An image processor is operatively connected to the image sensor to receive the captured image from the image sensor. The image evaluates the image to determine an angle of inclination of the pile based on the image.

The disclosure discloses stabilized rice aleurone and a preparation method, using the technology of classifying a rice aleurone layer by a tangential injection airflow impeller classifier combined with an ultrasonic vibrating screen for the first time, and simultaneously uses steam treatment coupled with thermal enzyme inactivation by drum drying as a stabilization method to prepare the stabilized rice aleurone for the first time. The drum drying equipment realizes the two purposes of enzyme inactivation and drying, and the method has the advantages of short process flow, simple equipment, high utilization rate, small floor space, low investment, low energy consumption and no pollution, and is suitable for industrial promotion. The stabilized rice aleurone has high nutritional value, is rich in functional ingredients, and can be used as a raw material for functional food development in industrial production and food applications.

A method and system for removing foreign grains from oat grains to establish gluten-free oats, i.e., oat grains having gluten levels below 20 ppm and, more preferably, below 10 ppm relies upon performing a series of differentiation operations on a combination of grains, including oats and foreign, or gluten containing, grains, followed by a re-shaping operation to compress the oat grains but not the foreign grains. Thereafter, the compressed oat grains are separated from the foreign grains to establish the gluten-free oats. The resulting oats can be used to make a wide range of gluten-free oat food products, including cereal and granola products.
