METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPOSITIONS FOR THE LIQUID-PHASE DEPOSITION OF THIN FILMS ONTO THE SURFACE OF BATTERY ELECTRODES
Methods, systems, and compositions for the liquid-phase deposition (LPD) of thin films. The thin films can be coated onto the surface of porous components of electrochemical devices, such as battery electrodes. Embodiments of the present disclosure achieve a faster, safer, and more cost-effective means for forming uniform, conformal layers on non-planar microstructures than known methods. In one aspect, the methods and systems involve exposing the component to be coated to different liquid reagents in sequential processing steps, with optional intervening rinsing and drying steps. Processing may occur in a single reaction chamber or multiple reaction chambers.
Imprinting apparatus and imprinting method thereof
An imprinting apparatus includes: a coating unit which coats a substrate with ink including a photocurable resin in a diluent; a pressing unit which presses the ink with an imprint stamp including an uneven pattern; and a light source which irradiates light to the ink, which is in a pressed state, and cures the photocurable resin. The coating unit, the pressing unit and the light source move relative to the substrate in a processing direction. The coating unit is located ahead of the pressing unit in the processing direction.
DOSING SYSTEM WITH DOSING MATERIAL COOLING DEVICE
The invention relates to a dosing system (1) for a dosing material having a dosing device (5) with a housing (11), the housing (11) comprising a feed channel (80) for dosing material, a nozzle (40), a discharge element (31) and an actuator unit (10) coupled to the discharge element (31) and/or the nozzle (40). The dosing device (5) further comprises a dosing material reservoir (70) which is coupled to the housing (11) or integrated into the housing (11). The dosing system (1) has a plurality of temperature control devices (2, 2′, 2″) which are each assigned to different temperature zones (6, 6′, 6″) of the dosing system (1) in order to control the temperature zones (6, 6′, 6″) differently. At least one first temperature zone (6) is assigned to the dosing material reservoir (70) and at least one second temperature zone (6″) is assigned to the nozzle (40). Preferably, at least one of the temperature control devices (2, 2′, 2″), preferably at least the temperature control device (2) assigned to the dosing material reservoir (6), comprises a cooling device (3, 3′, 3″) having a cold source (93, 93′, 95, 99).

A fluid ejection device is a fluid ejection device adapted to eject a fluent material including an actuator, and a drive signal supply section adapted to output a signal used to drive the actuator, wherein the actuator includes a first piezoelectric element and a second piezoelectric element connected in series to each other. The drive signal supply section is capable of outputting a first drive waveform and a second drive waveform having a voltage change part steeper than that of the first drive waveform to the first piezoelectric element and the second piezoelectric element, outputs the second drive waveform to the second piezoelectric element in a case of outputting the first drive waveform to the first piezoelectric element, and outputs the first drive waveform to the second piezoelectric element in a case of outputting the second drive waveform to the first piezoelectric element.

Solution: The liquid material application apparatus includes a discharge head, a robot moving the discharge head relative to a workpiece, a movement control unit controlling relative movement of the discharge head and the workpiece, and a discharge control unit controlling an operation of discharging a liquid material from a discharge head, wherein the discharge control unit executes, in a switchable manner in accordance with an application program, first mode discharge control of changing a discharge amount of the liquid material, which is discharged from the discharge head per unit time, depending on a relative moving speed between the discharge head and the workpiece, and second mode discharge control of operating the discharge head to discharge the liquid material in a predetermined discharge amount per unit time regardless of the relative moving speed. The liquid material application method is implemented using the liquid material application apparatus.

A printing apparatus is provided with: a support member supporting a can body; a movement route in which the support member moves, the movement route being formed into an annular shape and partially including a linear part, which is a linear-shaped movement route; and plural inkjet heads forming an image onto the can body supported by the support member positioned at the linear part. Thus, it is possible to suppress degradation of image quality that may happen in the case of forming a movement route of can bodies into an annular shape when an image is to be formed on a can body by use of the plural inkjet heads.
