Method for producing press-hardened components for motor vehicles
A method for making a vehicle body component includes forming a generally flat plate of unhardened, hot-formable sheet steel with a marginal shape which corresponds essentially to the developed configuration of the finished vehicle body component. The formed plate is hot-formed and hardened in a single press tool to define a sheet profile which corresponds to the configuration of the finished vehicle body component, and a surface coating is applied to the sheet profile.

Production of reinforced double-layer parts
A method for fabricating a double layer cup-shaped part may include shaping a first material into a hollow cylinder, mounting the hollow cylinder on a draw punch, where the draw punch may include an upper punch portion with a first diameter and a lower punch portion with a second smaller diameter. Mounting the hollow cylinder on the draw punch may include tightly fitting the hollow cylinder around the lower punch portion. The method may further include forming the double layer cup-shaped part by drawing a blank material through a draw die by placing the blank material over an upper opening of the draw die, and pressing the draw punch over the blank material. The first material may form an inner layer of the double layer cup-shaped part and the blank material may form an outer cup-shaped layer of the double layer cup-shaped part.
Multi-dimple orifice disc for a fluid injector, and methods for constructing and utilizing same
A fluid injector for injecting fluid is disclosed, including a body; a fluid passageway defined in the body and extending from an inlet to an outlet of the fluid injector; a valve seat disposed internally of the body and forming part of the passageway; a valve element that is selectively reciprocated relative to the valve seat to close and open the passageway to fluid flow by seating and unseating the valve element on and from the valve seat, respectively; and an orifice disc disposed in the passageway downstream of the valve seat in a direction of the fluid flow through the fluid injector, the orifice disc including a plurality of dimples and a plurality of orifices defined through the orifice disc, each dimple including at least one orifice located thereon and each dimple having an asymmetrical cross-section.
Apparatus and method for manufacturing thin uneven member
There is provided an apparatus for manufacturing a thin uneven member. The apparatus includes a lower die fixed to a press bed, an upper die fixed to a ram and disposed opposed to the lower die, and a pressure-drive unit which presses the ram using a servo motor as a power source, the servo motor being fixed to a first support member. The pressure-drive unit includes a motion converting mechanism which converts a rotation of the servo motor to a linear motion of a lifting member, and a cylinder block connected and fixed to the first support member and including first and second pistons arranged in series vertically, wherein the first piston is connected to the lifting member through a second support member, and the second piston, larger in diameter than the first piston, presses the ram.
SETTING METHOD FOR CONDUCTING ELEMENT OF ELECTROCHEMICAL TEST STRIP AND ELECTROCHEMICAL TEST STRIP THEREOF
The present invention relates a setting method for a conducting element of an electrochemical test strip and electrochemical test strip thereof. An inspection body is formed by injection molding polymer plastic materials to coat with the plurality of conducting elements, and an external contact surface on an information outputting end of the conducting element is exposed from an inspection slot of the inspection body, so that the information outputting end of the conducting element is extended from the inspection body. Eventually, the information outputting end is bent to fix on a surface of the inspection body. The present invention is not complex and has more precision and convenience, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced efficiently, so that wide application can be expected in the near future.
DEVICE FOR PARTIAL EMBOSSING OF SEAL BLANKS AND METHOD FOR PARTIAL EMBOSSING OF SEAL BLANKS
The device for partially embossing deep-drawn or planar seal blanks that are punched out from a foil strip comprises an embossing die and an adjacent punch. The embossing die in turn comprises a female mould and a male mould, the male mould comprising three-dimensional elements that are arranged in an outer region and in a central region and the male mould and the female mould, in their spatial position, being mounted so as to be rotatable about an axis A that is substantially perpendicular to the foil strip.
