Pasture and paddock tender
09635800 · 2017-05-02 ·

The apparatus is a tender that removes horse manure from pastures and paddocks by collecting stools of manure, grinding the manure and returning it back to the pasture as fertilizer. The tender can also process collected manure, moving it and distributing it to locations needing biomass. The tender is a specialized sled, which can be towed by small vehicle, such as a golf cart. When towed through a pasture, the tender scrapes up the horse manure, grinds it into small granules without hurting the grass, and then spreads it over a wide elongate area, utilizing a unique knife and a partitioned mesh in a structural frame. The tender has a removable bed liner for that retains some or all materials, such as collected manure, for transporting the materials, where it can be dumped or be distributed as a granular biomass.

Agricultural tillage implement wheel control

An agricultural tillage implement includes a main section including a hitch extending in a travel direction, a plurality of foldable wing sections coupled with the main section, a plurality of ground engaging tilling elements, a plurality of wheel assemblies and a control system. The tilling elements are coupled to the main section and wing sections. Each of the wheel assemblies include an actuator. The wheel assemblies include a first plurality of wheel assemblies associated with the main section and a second plurality of wheel assemblies associated with the plurality of wing sections. The actuators of the first plurality of wheel assemblies being independent of the actuators of the second plurality of wheel assemblies. The control system is configured to actuate the actuators to effect a profile minimizing operation of the foldable wing sections when the implement is being transitioned into a transport mode.

Grading tools for work machines and operation thereof

One embodiment includes a grading tool structured for attachment to a work machine. The grading tool includes a frame, ground contacting wheels coupled with the frame, a comb coupled with the frame and extending from a first end of the frame, and a coupling member coupled with the frame and structured to be accessible from a second end of the frame. When the ground contacting wheels are in contact with the ground a depth of penetration of the comb into the ground surface is adjustable by changing the pitch of the grading tool.

The present invention provides an adjustable guided rake apparatus and method which enables an adjustable guided rake user to configure an adjustable rake guide to a specified height in relation to a secondary surface, which will then define the height of the grading edge of the grading rake head in relation to a primary surface. The adjustable guided rake user is able to move the grading rake head along a primary surface, in order to shift material along the surface, while the adjustable rake guide runs along the secondary surface, guiding the grading rake head.
