A leash is formed with a body composed of an elastomeric material and is configured with several fixed-sized loops and an adjustable loop. The leash includes a buckle connected to one of the fixed-sized loops. The buckle is connected to one of the fixed-sized loops and is slidably engaged with the body so as to cause adjustments in the leash length as the buckle slides along the body responsive to manual forced applied by a user. The buckle is configured to remain at a fixed location on the body absent manual force being applied to slide the buckle along the body. The elastomeric material of the body adds to comfort and safety for using the leash with animal(s) attached to the leash, as well as for increasing secure positioning of the buckle on the body.

This application relates to a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. In one aspect, the computer-readable storage medium includes instructions configured to cause a processor for calculating an appropriate feed amount based on animal characteristic information to receive one or more pieces of first animal characteristic information. The one or more pieces of first animal characteristic information may include at least piece of activity level information of a first animal. The instructions may further cause the processor to calculate a maintenance energy requirement (MER) of the first animal, based on the received one or more pieces of first animal characteristic information and an MER calculation model.

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for controlling the barking of an animal that wears a monitoring device. The systems may obtain status information of the animal from the monitoring device, and determine whether the animal is barking based on the status information. The systems may also obtain a first audio signal representing a first sound from the monitoring device in response to a determination that the animal is barking, and determine whether an anti-bark operation needs to be performed on the animal based on the first audio signal. The systems may further cause the monitoring device to perform the anti-bark operation on the animal in response to a determination that the anti-bark operation needs to be performed on the animal.

An object of the present invention is to provide a garment for measuring biological information for animals, in which the electrode portion is less likely to be displaced from the body even upon a movement of an animal and the biological information can be measured accurately, and to provide a method for measuring biological information.

A garment for measuring biological information comprising a front body and a back body having a large tensile elongation EMT. Since the garment for measuring biological information has a band around a torso, it is possible to prevent the electrodes from being displaced from the body due to a movement. Further, since the connection portion between the front body and the back body of the garment for measuring biological information is made of a woven or knitted fabric that expands and contracts in the direction from the head to the tail, the electrodes are less likely to be displaced from the body even upon a great movement. Therefore, the garment for measuring biological information of the present invention can accurately measure the biological information of a moving animal.
