Fishing line deflector
A fishing line deflection pole preferably includes a pole unit and a retention plate. The pole unit includes a clamp member, at least one pole member and a biasing extension. The clamp member includes a transducer guard and a pole receiver. The pole receiver extends upward from the transducer guard. The pole receiver includes a threaded tap. The pole member includes a threaded end and a threaded tap on an opposing end thereof. The threaded end is sized to be threadably received by the thread tap of the pole receiver. Multiple pole members may be threaded into each other to extend a length of the pole unit. The biasing extension includes a resilient pipe, which is retained on the pole receiver. The retention plate includes a pole opening formed through one end and a contact pad extending from an opposing end thereof.
SHADE APPARATUS FOR BROILER POULTRY HOUSE
A shade apparatus for use in broiler poultry houses can include a plurality of contoured vanes positioned in vertical alignment. Each vane can have first and second opposed lateral sides and is contoured upwardly such that the first lateral side resides below the second lateral side. The vanes are connected by a first plurality of spacers attached to the vanes proximate the first lateral side of the vanes, and a second plurality of spacers attached to the vanes proximate the second lateral side of the vanes. A portion of each vane extends over a horizontal axis defined by the first lateral side of a vane positioned immediately above. The apparatus can include brackets that facilitate mounting of the apparatus over a fan vent of a broiler poultry house and maintain the vanes a predetermined optimal distance from the fan vent.
Aviary cage with egg and manure removal system and method for constructing same
An aviary cage having a cage tower is provided. The cage tower includes a nesting area positioned in the cage tower and a belt extending below the nesting area. A scratching floor extends from the cage tower and is oriented with respect to the belt such that a deposit on the scratching floor is directed back to the belt. The belt is configured to capture eggs laid outside the nesting area. The belt is configured to capture a deposit. The belt may be further configured to remove dead animals from the aviary cage.
SWIFTLETS FARMING FOR PRODUCTION OF EDIBLE BIRD'S NESTS
An edible bird's nests production facility, for use in creating and harvesting edible bird's nests. A plurality of arrangement of swiftlet's nesting substrates configured to maximize efficiency, productivity and high net worth value of the edible nests products created. The facility includes mechanized equipment and apparatus for harvesting swiftlet's edible nests at great heights; carriage of goods and equipment in swiftlets farming houses; safe and efficient collection of nests.

Chicken House with Protected Grazing Area
A poultry house habitat with a discrete natural environment enclosure which protects poultry while granting them freedom to move during their normal egg-laying period and a cage area structure with cubbyholes in which to sleep. The attached enclosed grazing area allows the poultry to maintain a more complete diet by supplementing normal feed with insects, grass, and soil. Because the poultry have greater freedom of movement and a more complete diet, the resulting eggs and meat are of a much higher nutritional quality and have a better taste.
Cage-free aviary
An aviary is provided having a floor and a first aviary cage including a first outside surface enclosing a first inside area. The aviary further comprises a second aviary cage substantially similar to the first aviary cage and including a second outside surface enclosing a second inside area. The second aviary cage is positioned at a height from the floor greater than a height from the floor at which the first aviary cage is positioned. An aisle extends between the first aviary cage and the second aviary cage. A first perch extends from the first outside surface of the first aviary cage and into the aisle at a first vertical distance from the floor. A second perch extends from the second outside surface of the second aviary cage and into the aisle at a second vertical distance from the floor. The first and second vertical distances from the floor are not equal.
Reduced weight live poultry hauling system
A reduced-weight poultry cage is used in conjunction with a reduced-weight trailer to transport live poultry for maximizing the poundage of poultry being transported while reducing the number of trips and fuel expenses. The poultry cage includes a combination of aluminum and plastic elements that reduce cage weight, provide for nesting of cages in stacks as well as easy replacement of failed parts. Furthermore, a drop-deck aluminum trailer with a reduced floor and guide rail alignment stops allows for a durable yet lightweight trailer that can haul a plurality of stacks of these poultry cages, thereby maximizing cubic feet availability while being compliant with various road and bridge laws.
Aviary system and system for circulating litter in an aviary
An aviary that includes a system for providing litter to birds and for circulating the litter throughout the aviary. A litter distribution chain extends through at least some of the scratching platforms. The litter distribution chain receives litter from a storage container and then transfers the litter through the aviary for use by the birds on the scratching platforms. At least a portion of the litter from one scratching platform is directed to move to a scratching platform on a lower level where the litter may be used by birds occupying this lower level. This circulation pattern repeats on the current level, with the recycled litter being deposited on at least one scratching platform near the next lower aviary tower level. Once the litter reaches the lowest aviary tower level, it remains there until it is removed from the aviary by a belt or other means.
