Thread rolling tool
A thread rolling tool for rolling or repairing a thread has a tool body, a profiled roller, and at least one counter roller. The profiled roller and the at least one counter roller are mounted on the tool body. Preferably, at least one of the profiled roller and the at least one counter roller is mounted so that it is axially displaceable. The profiled roller has a profiled roller profile that has a pitch.
Barrel nut with stress reduction features
A barrel nut with features for reducing tensile stresses under heavy load within the barrel nut has a partial-cylindrical body having a first planar end surface and a second planar end surface. A threaded bore extends through the partial-cylindrical body with a central axis substantially parallel to the first planar end surface and the second planar end surface. At least one groove is formed in each of the first planar end surface and the second planar end surface, the groove having a rounded surface extending at least a part of a distance between a curved upper surface of the partial-cylindrical body to a bottom surface thereof in a direction substantially parallel to the central axis of the threaded bore.
TOOL AND FASTENER WITH OVERHANG STRUCTURES TO REDUCE STRIPPING
A fastener designed to reduce or eliminate stripping the fastener (e.g., as a result of camming-out during drilling of the fastener either into or out of a material). Also, a driver bit tip design to engage with the fastener, along with a tool designed to form the fastener, as well as a method of forming the fastener. In an example, the fastener includes a shank and a head on one end of the shank. The head comprises a recess pattern that includes one or more wing recesses with sidewalls that extend from the head towards the shank. The head further includes an overhang structure at a top end of the at least one of the sidewalls, the overhang structure extending laterally outward from the sidewall. A corresponding driver bit includes a complementary feature that engages with the overhang structure to inhibit cam-out.
Screw Thread Roller Burnishing Apparatus
Internal and external screw thread burnishing assemblies are provided. In the internal screw thread burnishing assembly, diametrically opposed removable cartridges carrying burnishing wheels are received in cavities of a support structure axially movable into the space circumscribed by the internal screw thread. Fluid pressure is utilized to forcibly translate the cartridges radially outwardly to place their burnishing wheels into burnishing engagement with the internal screw thread, with a spring structure resiliently biasing the cartridges toward retracted orientations thereof within the support structure. In the external screw thread burnishing assembly, burnishing wheels are carried on the outer ends of pivotally supported arms which may be pivoted by fluid pressure to drive the burnishing wheels into burnishing engagement with diametrically opposite portions of the external screw thread, with a spring structure resiliently biasing the arms pivotally away from one another.

DENTAL IMPLANTOPLASTY TOOL FOR TREATMENT OF PERI-IMPLANTIS IN DENTAL IMPLANTS
A dental tool for resurfacing thread forms of a dental implant is disclosed. The tool includes a main body having a cylindrical member with a slot. A blade having a head is inserted in the slot to orient the head to protrude from the interior surface of the cylindrical member of the main body. The main body may be rotated into traversing a thread form of the implant. A compression sleeve is inserted over the main body. The compression sleeve has an open position and a closed position to hold the blade in the slot. The compression sleeve may be flexed by relative movement of the blades to resurface threads of a tapered dental implant.
Rotational Cutting Tool for Trimming Workpiece
A rotational cutting tool includes a connecting end for engaging with a driving tool and a cutting end for engaging with the work piece. The connecting end and the cutting end rotate about the rotation axis upon rotation of the rotational cutting tool. An inner periphery of the cutting end defines a receiving space for receiving the work piece. The receiving space has a conic surface which extends radially and obliquely with respect to the rotation axis. The receiving space includes a first ridge forming at least one cutting edge for trimming the workpiece and at least one slot allowing trimmed pieces from the workpiece to exit from the receiving space. The first cutting edge extends radially and obliquely with respect to the rotation axis. The first cutting edge extends curvedly and has a curved contour.
Ball screw polishing method and device thereof
The invention has a turnback roll which can transfer and guide a polishing tap in a tangential direction of a pressure contacting roll, a vertical oscillation mechanism which linearly oscillates the pressure contacting roll in a tangential direction of a ball groove while being orthogonal to a rotating axis line, and a horizontal oscillation mechanism which linearly oscillates the pressure contacting roll in a direction of a rotating axis line toward both inner side surfaces of the ball groove. The ball groove can be securely polished by the polishing tape on the basis of the continuous or intermittent transfer of the polishing tape and the linear oscillating motion of the ball groove. It is possible to improve a polishing precision, it is possible to improve a surface roughness of the ball groove and it is possible to improve a polishing workability of the ball groove.
