Induction welding process for variable diameter pipes and device for carrying out said process
Induction welding device for variable diameter pipes includes three inductors configured in the shape of a cam, placed in symmetry in relation to the axial axis of the pipe to be welded, an oscillator connected to each inductor, a mechanical system connected to each inductor, designed to force each inductor to make contact with the pipe by the corresponding degree in relation to the diameter of the pipe at each position, so that the position of the inductors in relation to the pipe changes radially as the diameter of the section of the pipe to be welded also changes.
ELECTRIC HEATING PAD
An electric heating pad for warming a patient. The electric heating pad may be a heated underbody support, heated mattress or heated mattress overlay. An embodiment of the heating pad includes a flexible sheet-like heating element including an upper edge, a lower edge, and at least two side edges. The heating pad may also include a shell covering the heating element and comprising at least two sheets of flexible material (e.g., two sheets may be one sheet folded over to form at least two sheets). The two sheets of flexible material may be coupled together about the edges of the heating element by a weld. The material of the two sheets may include urethane. In some embodiments, a catalyst to accelerate hydrogen peroxide decomposition is coated on or impregnated into an element within the shell, or on the interior surface of the shell.

ELECTRIC RESISTANCE WELDED CLAD STEEL PIPE OR TUBE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
Provided is an electric resistance welded clad steel pipe or tube in which a region where solidification microstructure is formed, i.e. a region in a weld particularly having significant influence on properties, is reduced without impairing its function as a clad pipe or tube. An electric resistance welded clad steel pipe or tube comprises: a first layer made of carbon steel or low-alloy steel as base metal; and a second layer placed on one surface of the first layer, and made of stainless steel or a nickel-containing alloy as cladding metal, wherein the base metal is not exposed at a cladding metal-side surface of the electric resistance welded clad steel pipe or tube in a weld, and no solidification microstructure is contained in each of circular sections of 0.1 mm in radius respectively centered at specific three positions in a plane perpendicular to a pipe or tube longitudinal direction.
