Lustering plate for a portable electric rotary machine
Lustering plate (1) formed from a foam body (2), endowed with a securing surface (21) to be secured to the rotary plate of a lustering machine and having an active surface (22) wetted with the lustering liquid and coming into contact with the surface to be lustered. The lustering plate (1) incorporates a reservoir of lustering liquid (3) incorporated into the foam body (2). The reservoir (3) has a dispensing valve (4) in the axial position dispensing onto the active surface (22). The valve (4) has a valve seat (41) closed by a blocking device (43) returned to the closed position and endowed with a control device (44) opening the valve (4) by impelled pressing of the foam body (2) via its active surface (22) against the surface to be lustered.
System, apparatus and method for delivering fluid to and from the bottom center of a floor-operation pad on a rotary-motion flooring machine during operation
A system and related apparatus and method for delivering fluid to and from a bottom center of a floor-operation pad on a rotary-motion flooring machine while the pad is rotationally operating on a horizontal underfoot surface, the system comprising a fluid-delivery hub comprising: a plurality of fluid entry openings disposed on an outside circumferential surface thereof; an equal plurality of fluid flow channels commencing at the fluid entry openings, angling downward and inward from the fluid entry openings toward a center of the fluid-delivery hub, and terminating at an equal plurality of fluid exit openings proximate a bottom center of the fluid-delivery hub; and a floor-operation interface at a bottom of the fluid-delivery hub configured to directly or indirectly attach a floor-operation pad thereto, for operating on a floor.
Polishing composition for magnetic disk substrate
Embodiments provide a polishing composition for a magnetic disk substrate, which contains colloidal silica having an average primary particle size of 5 to 200 nm, fumed silica having an average particle size of 30 to 800 nm, pulverized wet-process silica particles having an average particle size of 100 to 1000 nm, and water. According to an embodiment, a ratio of the colloidal silica is 5 to 90% by mass, a ratio of the fumed silica is 5 to 90% by mass, and a ratio of the pulverized wet-process silica particles is 5 to 90% by mass with respect to all the silica particles, and a concentration of all the silica particles is 1 to 50% by mass.

Sapphire cover for electronic devices
A cover for an electronic device and methods of forming a cover is disclosed. The electronic device may include a housing, and a cover coupled to the housing. The cover may have an inner surface having at least one of an intermediate polish and a final polish, a groove formed on the inner surface, and an outer surface positioned opposite the inner surface. The outer surface may have at least one of the intermediate polish and the final polish. The cover may also have a rounded perimeter portion formed between the inner surface and the outer surface. The rounded perimeter portion may be positioned adjacent the groove. The method for forming the cover may include performing a first polishing process on the sapphire component using a polishing tool, and performing a second polishing process on the groove of the sapphire component forming the cover using blasting media.
Rotary cleaning tool for commode surfaces
The embodied invention is an enhanced rotary brush tool that provides important cleaning on porcelain surfaces that are stained by hard water deposits. The brush tool incorporates an outer holder that includes a motor connecting end, a tapered shaft, an outer cup and shroud. A fill epoxy bonds the outer holder together with an internal strengthening rod and an abrasive pad. The overall assembly provides significant compressive strength to allow an individual to utilize pressure when scrubbing off the water hardness buildup.
TOOL FOR MATCHING AN OBJECT
The invention relates to a tool for machining an object, which tool has a multiplicity of fingers arranged in layers, wherein the fingers are spaced apart from one another within the layers.
Cutter holder capable of polishing
The cutter holder capable of polishing a workpiece has a body, a mandrel, a middle element and a brush assembly. The mandrel extends into the body. The middle element is mounted to the body with a part of the mandrel extending out of the middle element. The brush assembly is mounted with the part of the mandrel that extends out of the middle element.
METHOD OF ABRADING A TEST TRACK WITH A BITUMINOUS SURFACE
A method for breaking in the surface condition of an asphalt test track for vehicles, comprising: modifying the condition of the surface of the test track with a treatment machine; placement on the treatment machine (1) of at least one rotary abrasive disc (4); and moving the treatment machine on the test track so as to reduce the friction coefficient to achieve a friction level corresponding to that of a broken-in track.
