DETERMINING THE POSITION OF AN OBJECT IN A SCENE
A method of determining the position of an object in a scene, comprising: receiving captured images of the scene, each image being captured from a different field of view of the scene, wherein a portion of the scene with a volume comprises a detectable object, the volume is divided into volume portions, and each volume portion is within the captured field of view of at least two of the captured images so that an image of each volume portion appears in the at least two of the captured images; detecting, for each volume portion in each of the captured images within which an image of that volume portion appears, whether or not an image of one of the detectable objects in the scene is positioned within a distance of the position of the image of that volume portion, a correspondence between the images of the detectable objects detected in the at least two of the images is established, the correspondence indicating that the images of the detectable objects detected in the at least two of the images correspond to a single detectable object in the scene, and the position in the scene of that volume portion is established as a position in the scene of the single detectable object.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING AND TRACKING A MOVING OBJECT
A device includes a memory configured to store instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to obtain image data of a region of interest included in an image frame. The processor may also be configured to compare the image data of the region of interest with image data of a background to detect a change in the region of interest. The processor may further be configured to detect the object in image frame based on the detected change.
VEHICLE MONITORING DEVICE, VEHICLE MONITORING METHOD AND VEHICLE MONITORING PROGRAM
A vehicle monitoring device includes a determination unit that determines whether a following vehicle shown in an image taken by a camera that takes an image of a surrounding area of a host vehicle is a two-wheel vehicle or not, and a warning unit that issues a warning when an inter-vehicle distance between the following vehicle and the host vehicle becomes equal to or less than a first distance in a case where the following vehicle is determined not to be a two-wheel vehicle by the determination unit, and issues a warning when the inter-vehicle distance between the following vehicle and the host vehicle becomes equal to or less than a second distance, which is longer than the first distance, in a case where the following vehicle is determined to be a two-wheel vehicle by the determination unit.
CLUSTER BASED PHOTO NAVIGATION
The technology relates to navigating imagery that is organized into clusters based on common patterns exhibited when imagery is captured. For example, a set of captured images which satisfy a predetermined pattern may be determined. The images in the set of set of captured images may be grouped into one or more clusters according to the predetermined pattern. A request to display a first cluster of the one or more clusters may be received and, in response, a first captured image from the requested first cluster may be selected. The selected first captured image may then be displayed.
TOUCH DETECTION CIRCUIT, FINGERPRINT MODULE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A fingerprint module includes a fingerprint sensor, a metal decorative part, a touch detection circuit, and a processing unit. The touch detection circuit generates a first trigger signal when the metal decorative part is touched; the processing unit is connected to the touch detection circuit and the fingerprint sensor; the processing unit generates a finger touch signal when the first trigger signal generated by the touch detection circuit and/or the fingerprint sensing signal generated by the fingerprint sensor is received. The present application also provides a control method of fingerprint module. In the present application, the metal decorative part and the fingerprint sensor are cooperatively used for performing a joint detection and the overall detection range of the fingerprint module is increased, thereby reducing the detection blind area of a finger and improving the detection accuracy of the fingerprint module for realizing a touch detection function.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECOMMENDING AN INTERFACE THEME
A method, and an apparatus for recommending an interface theme are provided. An exemplary embodiment of the method includes: obtaining a target image which includes an image of a target person; obtaining characteristic information of the target person based on the target image; obtaining a selection list of recommended themes, wherein the recommended themes are interface themes that match the characteristic information of the target person; and outputting the selection list of recommended themes.
TRAFFIC-COUNTING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
Traffic-counting methods and apparatus are disclosed. The methods may include, in a view of traffic comprising moving objects, identifying first and second regions of interest (ROIs). The methods may also include obtaining first and second image data respectively representing the first and second ROIs. The methods may also include analyzing the first and second image data over time. The methods may further include, based on the analyses of the first and second image data, counting the moving objects and determining moving directions of the moving objects.
METHOD OF AUTHENTICATING DOCUMENTS BY MEANS OF A MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATIONS TERMINAL
A method for authenticating at least one document having a predetermined format and carrying at least one security pattern of appearance that varies as a function of an angle of observation, the method comprising the steps of: capturing at least one image of the document; determining a camera angle by comparing geometric characteristics detected in the document and stored predetermined geometric characteristics; deducing an expected appearance for the security pattern; comparing the expected appearance with an appearance detected in the image of the document; and declaring the document authentic when the expected appearance matches the detected appearance.
MOTION DETERMINATION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF
Methods and apparatus for determining the motion of a movable object are disclosed. The methods may include, in a view of the environment outside the movable object, identifying a first region of interest (ROI) corresponding to a static portion of the environment. The methods may also include, in the view of the environment, identifying a second region of interest (ROI) corresponding to an active portion of the environment. The methods may also include receiving first and second image data respectively representing the first and second ROIs. The methods may also include analyzing the first image data over time. The methods may also include analyzing the second image data over time. The methods may further include determining whether the movable object is in motion based on the analyses of the first and second image data.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RECOGNIZING FINGERPRINT
A device for recognizing a fingerprint, includes: a fingerprint sensor; at least two moisture detection electrodes disposed within a preset range of the fingerprint sensor; and a processing module coupled to the fingerprint sensor and the at least two moisture detection electrodes. The fingerprint sensor is configured to output a fingerprint signal to the processing module when a user touches the fingerprint sensor and the at least two moisture detection electrodes with a finger. The processing module is configured to acquire a characteristic value which is positively related to an impedance between the at least two moisture detection electrodes when the user touches the fingerprint sensor and the at least two moisture detection electrodes with the finger; determine a fingerprint recognition parameter which matches the characteristic value; and perform fingerprint recognition according to the determined fingerprint recognition parameter and the fingerprint signal.
