Clamping apparatus
A clamping apparatus includes a main shaft, at least two pushing members, a follow member movably sleeved on the main shaft, a coupling member fixedly sleeved on the main shaft, at least two first linkages respectively pivoted to the follow member, at least two second linkages, and a nut. Each of the at least two second linkage is pivoted to the corresponding first linkage, the coupling member, and the corresponding pushing member. The nut is movably sleeved on the main shaft and positioned at a side of the follow member away from the coupling member. The nut is configured to move the follow member towards the coupling member, to enable the at least two pushing members to move away from the main shaft.
Fastener for securing interface card
A fastener includes a base having a joint plate extended therefrom toward a first direction, a joint plate extended from the joint plate toward a second direction and configured to secure to an electronic base board, and a fastening member protruded thereon toward a third direction. The fastener includes an elastic compressive unit connected to the joint plate and including a pushing part configured to abut with a circuit board downwardly rotated. Subject to the stress in the first direction and applied by the circuit board, the pushing part is moved back and the elastically-compressive unit is compressed to make the circuit board rotate to the bottom side of the pushing part, and an edge of the circuit board can be inserted into and abutted thereon the fastening member, and the circuit board is accommodated in a fastening space formed on the outside of the fastening member.
Circuit card assembly standoff clip
A standing clip for supporting an object in an upright position includes a flexible grip having an upper lever arm, a lower lever arm, and first and second support legs. The first support leg extends from the upper lever arm at a second end of the flexible grip, and the second support leg extends from the lower lever arm at the second end of the flexible grip. The first and second support legs include complimentary clamping surfaces configured for clamping the object therebetween, and are spaced apart from each other by a gap. The flexible grip is depressible from a first state in which the gap is a first size to a second state in which the gap is a second size. The first and second support legs are oriented substantially vertically in the second state to clamp and suspend the object above a desired surface.
Material handling device
A material handling device for use in manipulating a tubular substrate includes a C-clamp, which in turn comprises a movable jaw that is pivotally coupled to a fixed jaw. A handle is coupled to and extends from an outer surface of the fixed jaw. An actuator is coupled to the fixed jaw. The actuator is operationally coupled to the movable jaw so that the actuator is positioned firstly to pivot the movable jaw relative to the fixed jaw to position the C-clamp in an open configuration, and, secondly, to pivot the movable jaw relative to the fixed jaw to position the C-clamp in a closed configuration. In the open configuration, the C-clamp is configured to insert a tubular substrate. In the closed configuration, the C-clamp couples to the tubular substrate, positioning a user to grasp the handle to manipulate the tubular substrate.
Door panel support assembly
A panel support assembly is presented herein. The panel support assembly includes a support base, a fixed support structure and a swing arm assembly. The fixed support structure extends from the support base and defines at least one vertical panel engaging surface. The swing arm assembly is pivotally attached to the base and is disposable between a normally biased, at least partially raised position and a lowered, clamped position. The swing arm assembly includes a base, a swing arm panel and a pivoting pressure plate. A biasing device is attached to the base of the swing arm assembly and is configured to normally bias the swing arm assembly into the at least partially raised position until an opposing weight is applied to the base of the swing arm assembly that will oppose the biasing force and automatically position the swing arm assembly into the lowered clamped position.
System, method, and apparatus for clamping
A clamp includes a housing, a fixed gripper, a moveable gripper, a driven member, and an actuator. The housing includes first and second tracks. The fixed gripper is coupled to the housing. The driven member is configured to slide within the first and second tracks of the housing. The moveable gripper is operatively coupled to the driven member. The actuator is configured to move the driven member towards a first position to thereby move the moveable gripper towards the fixed gripper. The actuator is further configured to move the driven member towards a second position to thereby move the moveable gripper away from the fixed gripper.
STATOR CORE SUPPORT DEVICE, AND METHOD OF SUPPORTING STATOR CORE
A stator core support device includes two support members that are radially opposed to a stator core such that a central axis of the stator core is interposed between the support members, and an inverting mechanism that inverts the two support members. Each of the support members has a radially opposed face that is radially opposed to the stator core, a first axially opposed face that is axially opposed to a first axial side of the stator core, and a second axially opposed face that is axially opposed to a second axial side of the stator core. While the inverting mechanism is inverting the two support members that hold the stator core, the stator core is moved in the axial direction relative to the two support members.
Modular vise
A vise having a modular construction that allows for ease of manufacture, assembly, and changeover or replacement of wear items, such as gripping surfaces of jaws of the vise. The modular construction also provides for reduced weight of the vise compared to conventional cast type vises. The vise also incorporates quick adjustment features allowing for the vise to be easily rotated, a position and size of an opening of the jaws to be rapidly adjusted, and a clamping force applied with ease.
Tool for mounting the high-pressure shaft of an aircraft engine
A tool holds and axially fixes a high-pressure shaft of an aircraft engine in a state where a high-pressure turbine stage is demounted. The tool includes: a shaft end cap having an inner radius, which is adapted to a predetermined shaft diameter, the shaft end cap plugs onto a turbine-side end of the high-pressure shaft; a shaft end cap receptacle receives the shaft end cap in a radially movable manner and in an axially limited manner in a first direction; a connector is fastenable to the shaft end cap receptacle and has a shank, which is insertable into the high-pressure shaft, the connector being configured to axially secure the shaft end cap receptacle; and a spring element, which is positionally fixed with respect to the shaft end cap receptacle, the spring element being configured to apply a predetermined spring force to the shaft end cap in the radial direction.
Portable work holding device and assembly
A work holding device includes a first jaw piece having an elongated first connection member for connecting the work holding device to a support. The first connection member defines a first passage. A second jaw piece has an elongated second connection member positionable within the first passage. The second connection member defines a second passage in communication with the first passage. A spindle assembly movably couples the second jaw piece to the first jaw piece. The spindle assembly is configured to move the second jaw piece with respect to the first jaw piece to create a clamping pressure when an object is placed between the first jaw piece and the second jaw piece.
