Fairing saver
12291285 · 2025-05-06 ·

A fairing saver is a device to protect aerodynamic fairings on a semi-truck from damage while it is being towed backwards. The device utilizes two (2) pairs of clamp style locking pliers. However, in lieu of conventional jaws, each jaw surface on the present Fairing Saver consists of a hard plastic pad, each measuring three inches (3) by six inches (6). These pads are backed by a steel plate which also provides a pivoting pin that attaches the pad to the pliers. These pliers are then attached to the fairing surfaces of the truck. An attachment clip, welded to each of the pliers, is then used with a ratchet strap or turnbuckle, to keep the sides of the fairing from moving about during the towing process. The locking plier nature of the device means that it can adapt to any thickness of fairing and locks in place with the ultimate in holding power.

The present specification discloses systems, devices, and methods provide a mounting system which includes rail and a bracket which is selectively secured to the rail. The bracket is selectively and/or automatically locked to the rail when positioned on the rail, and may be removed from the rail by activating one or more buttons or actuators. The disclosed mounting systems, devices, and methods enable a device to be protected from impact and moisture exposure, enable a device to be securely mounted on a base, and/or enable a device to be quickly secured and removed from a base.

Fiber handling tool with spring loaded doors

A fiber handling tool has a cover to engage optical fibers placed in the fiber handling tool. There may be more than one cover and the covers have at least two elastic elements. There are at least two elastic elements that cooperate to hold the optical fibers and/or cable in place and another elastic element may be used with a door lock that is rotatably attached to the cover. There are also structures for managing the routing of the optical fibers within the tool.

Quick grip pocket hole jig system and method

A quick grip pocket hole jig system is presented having a support section having a clamp support, an end stop and a back stop. A clamping assembly is connected to the support section having a clamping rod that extends through the clamp support. A drill guide carrier having a drill guide assembly is connected to the clamping rod on a forward side of the clamp support. A clamp body having a trigger and a release mechanism is connected to the clamping rod on a rearward side of the clamp support. The clamp body is a quick grip clamp body that facilitates quick gripping of a workpiece positioned within the support section. The clamping assembly includes a return spring and a release mechanism such that when the release mechanism is actuated the drill guide carrier and the drill guide assembly are automatically moved to a non-clamping position.

CLAMPING DEVICE FOR TWO WORKPIECES
20250222563 · 2025-07-10 ·

This invention introduces a two-workpiece clamping device. The arrangement of a first driving mechanism on the first body facilitates the vertical movement of the second body. This movement drives a first clamping block to descend into position, clamping the first workpiece with the first slot and simultaneously driving a second clamping block to descend into position to clamp the second workpiece with the second slot. The setup of the second driving mechanism, as well as the first blocking part on the first clamping block and the second blocking part on the second clamping block, makes it efficient to drive the second clamping block closer to the first clamping block, effectively clamping the first and second workpieces together.

A clamping plate for receiving at least one workpiece clamping device or a workpiece, the clamping plate including: a support surface for the at least one workpiece clamping device or the workpiece, the support surface is penetrated by a plurality of openings for receiving clamping bolts of the at least one workpiece clamping device, clamping slides being arranged in the clamping plate, the clamping slides each project with one end into one of the plurality of openings in a clamping position and are located outside the one of the plurality of openings in a release position, a clamping wedge, which is movably arranged in the clamping plate and is operatively connected to the clamping slides via at least one of a body formed resiliently yielding in several directions, a hollow body, an annular body, and a hollow cylinder.

Clamp assembly using pins
12404888 · 2025-09-02 · ·

A versatile clamp assembly that may be used for securing a device generally to an edge of a structure such as a raised portion of a standing seam of a metal roof. The assembly comprises a mounting body with an open loop having a slot for receiving the raised portion formed by the mounting body attaching the clamp assembly thereto. The assembly is configured with one or more pins that may be configured to be received in one or more push-pin openings formed in the mounting body, whereby the push-pin openings extend from a fastener base portion to a second arm portion. The assembly includes a fastener adapted to be received in a fastener opening formed adjacent the push-pin openings. The fastener is configured to secure and hold the clamp assembly to the standing seam by forcing the pins against the raised portion of the surface disposed in the slot.

A method and apparatus for maintaining a fixed distance between two cabinets during installation are provided. An elongated rail with two stops and two clamps are used. The stops are fixed to the elongated rail with opposing faces placed the fixed distance apart. The assembly is placed between the cabinets and a clamp is used to pinch a cabinet wall of each cabinet against a stop. The cabinets are installed and the apparatus is removed. In some embodiments a second apparatus may be used, one at the top of the cabinets and one at the bottom.

TOOL FOR ASSEMBLING HOSE AND CONNECTOR
20250303539 · 2025-10-02 ·

A tool for assembling a hose and a connector, which includes a base, a hose clamping assembly, a connector clamping assembly and a drive assembly. The base includes an assembly axis . The hose clamping assembly is slidably connected to the base. The connector clamping assembly is rotatably connected to the base and the drive assembly is configured to drive the connector clamping assembly to rotate about the assembly axis while moving toward or away from the hose clamping assembly. The drive assembly drives the connector clamping assembly to perform rotational motion about the assembly axis , while simultaneously moving axially toward or away from the hose clamping assembly, thereby achieving synchronized axial advancement of the connector during rotation. This rotation +linear feed compound motion significantly reduces assembly time and is particularly suitable for precision-demanding rapid assembly applications.
