Clamp for woodworking
The present invention provides a clamp for woodworking, The clamp comprises a body having a first end and an opposing second end, and a slot defined on the first end and comprising a plurality of graduated levels extending toward the second end. Each graduated level of the plurality of graduated levels comprises beveled edges.
Small part clamping device providing a high degree of parallelism
A clamp assembly for securing small parts is described herein. In some embodiments, the clamp assembly comprises a free jaw and a fixed jaw configured to secure a part positioned at a proximal end of the clamp assembly between a free jaw pad and a fixed jaw pad. The free jaw is configured to rotate at least about a size pin positioned at a distal end of the fixed jaw opposite the part. The free jaw is rotated by a tightening feature positioned proximate the free jaw pad and fixed jaw pad at the proximal end. As the tightening feature is actuated, the free jaw pad rotates toward the fixed jaw pad securing the part therebetween when the fixed jaw pad and the free jaw pad are substantially parallel.
Tool assembly for a crafting apparatus
A tool assembly includes a housing, a shaft, a spherical member, and a head. The housing defines a shaft channel. The shaft is rotatably disposed within the shaft channel and includes an exposed portion outside of the shaft channel. The exposed portion defines an engagement channel extending through an outer surface of the exposed portion. The spherical member is disposed within the engagement channel. The head is configured to be engaged with the exposed portion of the shaft. The head includes a detent configured to selectively engage the spherical member.
Miter clamping system
A clamping system and method useful in miter edge fabrication. Two separate units, each including a vacuum plate may be placed on separate slabs. The units may be connected with a knuckle that can be rotated to provide connection of the slabs in a variety of angles. The units are vacuum sealed to the slabs. The vacuum plates may include various sections of varied sizes to connect to different sized slabs. When the knuckle is locked, a worm gear will provide for lateral movement, relative the knuckle, to provide precision fitting of slabs.
Locking Plier Connector
An apparatus with single part body plus fastener for rigidly connecting locking pliers to commonly available mounts to afford simple, highly versatile and capable work holding solutions. A method for attaching mounts to locking pliers by clamping the handle with an adjustable spike inserted in the hole commonly present on plier handles on one side and a hooked feature on the other. The method discloses the spike best mode orientation to the hook to afford clamping of multiple sizes of locking pliers. Mounting thread angle axes relative to the locking plier handle are disclosed that accommodate both clearance between the mount and locking plier jaw tightening features for jaw adjustment and for aligning the fixed jaw with mount axes, for varying sizes of locking pliers. A best mode angle to align the fixed jaw axis with the mount axis is given to suit all sizes of locking pliers in scope.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR A FRAME STRUCTURE AND A METHOD OF SUPPORTING THE FRAME STRUCTURE
A support assembly and a method for a frame structure having a first frame section and a second frame section includes a support frame having arms extending outwardly to present a support grid. Connector apparatuses are arranged on the support grid, and each includes a lock coupled to a pin to selectively fix the pin in a stationary position relative to the support frame. Each of the connector apparatuses include a clamp configured to selectively attach together the frame structure and the support frame. The clamp of each of the connector apparatuses cooperates with the respective pin to attach the first frame section to the support frame when the respective clamp is in the locked position which fixes the first frame section on the support grid of the arms in an arrangement that provides repeatable nominal attachment and detachment of the second frame section relative to the first frame section.
Alignment jig and holding system for a workpiece
An alignment jig for holding and aligning a workpiece. The alignment jig has a base configured to support the workpiece and a first jaw extending from the base. The first jaw has a wedge-shaped flange defining opposing, angled alignment surfaces. The alignment jig also has a second jaw extending from the base of the alignment jig opposite the first jaw. The second jaw is moveable relative to the base such that the second jaw is configured to clamp a workpiece inserted between the first and second jaw against the alignment surfaces.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DISPLACING VEHICLE PARTS RELATIVE TO EACH OTHER
A part displacement tool for displacing a first part relative to a second part, the part displacement tool comprising a frame, a drive screw, and at least one engaging arm assembly. The frame defines a drive opening and at least one arm opening. The drive screw is supported by the drive opening. The at least one engaging arm assembly is configured to be supported by the at least one arm opening and comprises an engaging member and an engaging screw. Operation of the engaging screw displaces the engaging member relative to the frame.
Clamping device and testing device
A clamping device for clamping or gripping an object comprising a basic body which comprises an interface for the connection to a working or testing device, the basic body extending along a central axis and comprising at least four guides disposed opposite of each other in pairs which extend radial to the central axis, and at least four clamping elements respectively one of which, at least in portions, is introduced into a guide, the guide supporting and guiding the clamping element radial to the central axis with a linear degree or freedom, and the clamping element having at least one coupling surface which is oriented so that it is inclined with respect to the central axis.
Systems and methods for suspending clamped projects
A clamped project bracket assembly is provided. The assembly includes a first and a second suspension clamp assembly. Each suspension clamp assembly includes at least one suspension clamp portion configured to couple to a clamp assembly configured to hold a clamped project and a pair of locating pins extending from the at least one suspension clamp portion. The assembly further includes a mounting bracket comprising a pair of pin retention grooves and a pair of pin positioning grooves formed at least partially therethrough. The pair of locating pins of the first suspension clamp assembly are configured to travel within the pair of pin retention grooves and the pair of locating pins of the second suspension clamp assembly are configured to travel within the pair of pin positioning grooves to position the clamp assembly at one of multiple discrete orientations.
