Board pusher tool and related method of use
A board pusher tool is provided to hold one or more boards in a readied position and orientation relative to one another and an underlying joist. The pusher can include a base, a magnet joined with the base to secure the base in a fixed position relative to an underlying joist constructed from a magnetic material, a bumper reciprocally joined with the base, a guide joined with the bumper to allow the bumper to extend a predetermined distance away from the base, and a biasing element pushing the bumper away from the base, where the bumper forcibly urges the board away from the base, optionally toward or against another board, while the magnet secures the base in the fixed position relative to the underlying joist. A related method of use is provided.
Pneumatic clamping and/or braking device
Device for clamping and/or braking an object to be clamped and/or braked, comprising a housing; a spring arranged in the housing comprising a first and a second annular spring plate, wherein the annular spring plates are clamped in the housing between first and second contact surfaces of the housing; at least one clamping element having a clamping surface which is designed to transmit a clamping and/or braking force to the object; wherein the spring plates are arranged within the housing in such a way that at least one pressure space is formed, which can be ventilated or vented, wherein by ventilating or venting the pressure space, a bending of at least one of the spring plates can be changed and thereby the device changes between an open state and a closed state; wherein the device further comprises at least one insert plate, which is arranged between the spring plates.
Union release tool
A union release tool for loosening union nuts is disclosed herein. The union release tool includes a nut capturing device with a slip-on capturing member for circumscribing a plurality of sides of a union nut, the nut capturing device configured to provide an extended pivot point relative to the rotation of the union nut; a jack assembly configured to produce a force for breaking the union nut loose, the jack assembly being operatively coupled to the nut capturing device so as to convert the force produced by the jack assembly to a torque applied to the union nut; and at least one reactionary device configured to resist the force applied by the jack assembly to facilitate the breaking of the union nut loose, and the at least one reactionary device defining at least one pipe capturing recess for receiving a portion of a pipe in the pipe capturing recess.
Electric vise
A power vise including a body and a jaw connected to and extending from the vise body. The vise can also include an actuator extending at least partially through the jaw body, where the actuator can include a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The vise can include a moving jaw connected to the first end of the actuator. The vise can include a motor connected to the second end of the actuator, where the motor can be operable to move the actuator to move the moving jaw with respect to the fixed jaw, including a hammering or impacting function, and that such hammering or impacting can be performed after a predetermined delay. The vise can include a sensor configured to produce a signal based on a condition of the vise and to control the vise at least in part on using that signal.
